Très beau sejour en famille, le service et irréprochable, nous avons trouvé un personnel parfaitement disponible et toujours a l ecoute.
Ils nous ont donné des tas de bonnes adresses et ont bien tout organisé pour nous.la vue de la chambre est absolument geniale.

Wonderful view point from the hotel terrace. It is a real pleasure to see this green view with the river.
Hotel staff is doing its best in terms of assistance for food delivery from outside as not much trades in the area.
Breakfast is very correct with omelette and fruits. Fresh fruit juice as well.
Just make sure to have a room with AC.
Very nice experience

Très bon accueil superbe vue !! Seul bémol accès à l'hôtel en hauteur par une petite route excentre du centre.

Welcomed with open arms.
View is spectacular
Owner is friendly and wants to please
Tuk Tuk driver is knowledgeable, a good driver and a gentle soul.
Food opportunities in the area are available at the bigger hotels nearby but are not outstanding . I fact very ordinary. Better off to get Arjuth to take you down the hill. He knows the good places and is happy to help.
Breakfast is included in the very reasonable room charge. Sadly though, the hygiene of the kitchen and surrounds leaves a lot to be desired.
The place is a bit grubby and run down. Even though I'm being a bit harsh I would go back
I would reccomend it for the people ,the view ,the seclusion and I suppose the price

The good:
1. Owner and cook are nice people.
2. Good view from the room.
The bad:
1. You are at the mercy of the staff as this is a remote place.
2. They charged a lot for a very basic breakfast, almost 5 times what you would get outside for better food.
3. No air conditioning and dirty rooms. There was a dead frog in our bathroom. Dust bin was very dirty.
4. The view was blocked by trees.
5. No telephone or credit card in this hotel. They want only cash.
There are other properties nearby that seem to be well-maintained. The staff was very nice.

Thank you for taking time to post an detailed response. "Typical Indian guest response" If you would have chosen a 3/4 star luxury Hotel you would have got AC & Phone but I thought you only had the budget to book a homestay instead. We charge 5 per person for Breakfast and if you think you can get 1 breakfast in India but Bread here is 1. after supplying Buckets to take showers for your family everyday even though we have hotter Telephone showers in our washroom. Couldn't expect more. Enjoy your Sri Lanka 4 Day Holiday.

Authentic homestay
Publié le 29 janv. 2020 sur HotelsThis is a great option for backpacker's seaking an authentic homestay experience. Chulanka is such a gracious host and he helps arrange anything you need. He truly took care of us. You cannot miss a home cooked meal from Mom either.

Great views, great service
Publié le 23 janv. 2020 sur HotelsService was excellent, especially breakfast. The staff are very helpful and the view from the balcony in the top room was amazing! The hotel is located high up the hillside so you can see for miles.
