Perfect hotel in Kandy!
Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HotelsMy husband and I had a lovely stay at the Radh Hotel. The staff was most welcoming, helpful and polite from the very moment we arrived. They found all the information with traveling that we présented them with, promptly and always with a smile. Our room had a lovely balcony unto the street and yet it was quiet. The bedroom itself was well appointed with a mini fridge filled with complementary drinks and snacks and a kettle to make tea. The bathroom was stylish and the shower spacious. The breakfast buffet presents a vast array of choices from egg dishes such as omelets on demand, bread, jams, fresh fruits, yogurt, cereals but also more local fares such as curry and much more. The location is ideal to tour the stunning city of Kandy. Starting with the temple of the sacred tooth just at the end of the street and lake few step away…

The Radh Hotel is lovely. The rooms are nicely appointed, the staff is kind and helpful, and it is in a perfect location, steps from the temple, shopping, and restaurants.

Customer service is wonderful, very prompt with requests and friendly. The hotel is right in a great central location, next to the temple, lake, and food. Only thing to advise someone else about that we did not know…. The front doors are locked at a certain time at night and you cannot get in, even with a key card. We arrived back on our last night )out of four) after a Homecoming at 1:30 am and could not get in. A guard tried for 10-15 minutes and finally got us in. In the morning I talked to the manager and said we were locked out, and he said they didn’t know we were still out. So great place besides that, just check before if know you are staying out late.
