Location of home is in the town of Platte City and only - 7 miles to Weston or KCI. 20-30 minutes to Union Station, KC Chiefs, Nascar, and numerous other venues. Platte City is a small town and sits along I-29 about 20 minutes northwest of downtown Kansas City. There are numerous orchards, wineries and brewpubs within a short distance of the home. Many restaurants, clubs, museums, and other points of interest nearby including nearby Smithville Lake, Fort Leavenworth, Weston Bend State Park and other various points of interest. Home has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, 2 living room areas and all the kitchen and bath amenities. Price is based on 4 adults. There is an additional charge for each guest after 4. No third-party bookings - if you are booking the home - you need to be the one staying in the home.

Nice home, but not as advertised
The property was clean and well-stocked, but did not have the bunk beds as pictured in the advertisement. Additionally, when I first made the reservation, the ad said the property slept 6 and any additional would be charged extra. I was charged $150 even though I only had 6. When I told the owner, she changed the ad, but only refunded me $50. It was Girl Scout Troop funds, so that was a bummer.

We had a very nice time There was not bunk beds as listed and the “double”pull out couch is super small but my adult sons found and way and we all 7 us slept comfortably If you book more than 4 people there is an extra fee after you pay the original VRBO just so you know

Great property!
The house was very clean and homey! All essentials were provided and there were extras like games, coffee, sugar etc! We spent every evening in the backyard playing cornhole. There was even a fan on the back porch to help cool! Will definitely book again next time we are in the area!

Absolutely impeccable!
We traveled to Weston for a wedding and chose to stay here to accommodate our family of 5. It was wonderful. This house was so clean and perfect. Everyone loved the snacks left for us and we all had our own space. We didnt realize it but there was a pack and play in a closet, which we found the last night and would have used. The large lower bunk bed worked great though so she used that for her and baby. My son loved the basement, which gave him an entire space all his own. We had breakfast at Roxannes and lunch at La Cabana just up the street....both were wonderful! The people there were so nice and helpful with questions we had for finding things around town and Weston. We live in the country at home and were concerned with staying in town. We never heard a single thing except a dog bark once. It was so quiet and perfect. We LOVED our stay!

Cute house in a quiet neighborhood
This house is perfect for a group or family. VERY clean. A short walk to the historic main street of Platte City. The events we were attending were in Weston. It was a 15 minuted drive to downtown Weston and 20 min to Green Dirt Farms.

We were 6 men over 50 who went to college together and had a reunion. The house was great for us. Kitchen needs cooking utensils for larger groups, but we managed! Peaceful, clean, functional for socializing.

Golf trip
Needed a place for a weekend golf trip. The house was centrally located and close to groceries and convenience stores. We had a group of 4 guys...much more than 6 would have tight in our situation. But the house was clean and had some nice added touches like the propane fire pit to sit around.

Lovely, quiet home
We loved our stay in Janette's lovely home. It is on quiet street and yet close to the interstate and restaurants/grocery stores, etc. Janette was very responsive to our needs as plans changed slightly. She is so accomodating and the house was perfect for our family of 6. We would love to stay again!
