Guest will have access to every area of the home, including the upper level guest house above the attached garage. The lower level of the garage will not be accessible. The fireplace in the living room and basement are for decoration only and not to be used during the stay.

Enter through the front of the home using a personalized code you will receive on the day of arrival. You are immediately met with the feeling of home! Due to the home being older, the spaces are all on different levels and require climbing stairs to move about. If stairs are a problem, this property may not be the best option for you, but please reach out as we may have something else that can work for you!

The main home is three stories. lower level of the home, where guests will enter, features the kitchen, dining room, and small seating area. The half bath and small office are located just off the main floor but require a few stairs to access. The second level features the main living room area, two bedrooms (king & queen), and one full bathroom. This level also includes access to the back deck and entertainment area. The third floor offers an additional smaller living room area with a coffee bar, mini fridge and microwave (pictured), two bedrooms (king & queen), and one full bathroom.

NEW: Guest House Above the Detached Garage
In addition to the main house, this property now features a charming guest house above the detached garage. Access the guest house to the right of the main house’s front entrance. Perfect for added privacy or accommodating extra guests, the guest house includes:
A cozy living area
Kitchenette with a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker
Queen-size bedroom
Full bathroom with shower
While the guest house doesn’t include a full kitchen or laundry area, the main house is fully equipped for all your cooking and laundry needs.

Living Rooms
The main living area on the second floor offers a peaceful atmosphere with natural lighting, a large sectional, two comfy chairs, and a Smart TV to stream your favorite show or game. This space opens up to the fully stocked kitchen and outdoor deck area. Here you will also find board games to play with your friends and family. There is also a small living area on the third floor of the main home, a cozy living area in the guest house, and a comfortable living/seating area on the first floor of the main home.

First Floor Kitchen, Dining & Seating Area - Main Home:
The lower level kitchen is completely remodeled with all new stainless steel appliances, a coffee bar (French press, pour-over, drip coffee maker, coffee grounds, sugar, and creamer), and all necessary cookware and dinnerware are provided!
Next to the kitchen you will find a large dining area with a large TV, along with a small casual seating/living area for congregating as a group.
Other kitchen items included: Microwave, stove, oven, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, spice rack, cookie trays, dinnerware, drinkware, wine glasses, silverware, pots & pans, mixing bowls, toaster, blender, hand mixer, hand towels, paper towels, and cleaning products.

5 Super Cozy Bedrooms (2 King, 3 Queen):
Main House: Two bedrooms on the second level (king & queen), two bedrooms on the third level (king & queen).
Guest House: One queen bedroom with a private full bathroom.

Each bedroom offers bedside tables with charging stations, lamps, overhead lighting and chest of drawers or closets. The master bedroom on the third floor and the guest suite each have full en-suite bathrooms attached.

Other bedroom amenities: Smart TVs, Overhead lighting/ceiling fans, luggage racks, chest of drawers, closets, hangers, laundry baskets, bedside lamps with charging stations, iron & ironing board.

There are a total of three and a half bathrooms between the main home and the guest suite with plenty of space to rejuvenate.

This home was made for outdoor entertainment! Two spacious decks are attached to the main home and the guest suite with outdoor seating. Further behind the main home you will find the backyard entertainment pavilion with two large outdoor couches, a high-top bar table, games, a mini fridge, a large TV, and a surround sound system—perfect for watching a movie, your favorite sports game, or relaxing outdoors! The entertainment pavilion has mounted space heaters so you can enjoy the space year round.

This protection plan is $45 for all stays under 29 nights, and is included in the cost of your booking. Stays 30-59 nights will be required to pay an additional insurance premium of $305 directly on our website. Stays longer than 59 nights will be separately charged for damage protection extension at the rate of $130/30 days. Please note, guest screening is also required for any bookings made through VRBO or direct. *PETS - We do allow pets with host approval. If you are planning on bringing a pet please notify us once you complete your booking. There is a $75 fee for one pet or $100 for two that is collected once the booking is confirmed and paid in full. (Guests are required to pick up after their pet, host provides dog bag stations. Taxes are collected in addition to the fee) There is a $500 fine for any unauthorized pets.

*Cancellation Policy*

Full Refund: Cancel at least 30 days before check-in for a full refund.
50% Refund: Cancel 7 to 30 days before check-in to receive a 50% refund for all nights.
No Refund: Cancel less than 7 days before check-in and the full amount will be charged. Cleaning fee will be refunded.
Special Exception: If you cancel within 48 hours of booking and at least 14 days before check-in, you will receive a full refund.

Cozy place with tons of space!
Easy check in and a decent location for everything you need within minutes. The outdoor “shack” is where we spent our time with our dogs it is packed with comfy furniture and a HUGE tv with great sound!The property management and even the owner are great. We had a small issue on the first day but the timeliness of correcting it was super fast!Great place to stay for privacy along with the ability to host a large group with many different spaces inside for everyone!

Good but issues
So overall the stay was okay but there were issues that hopefully will be resolved for others. First, the place had all new appliances but they are either very cheap or installed improperly or both. The dishwasher didn't work at all. It would make noise like it was running but pods wouldn't dissolve and dishes still dirty. We were there over thanksgiving so we couldn't get help until the next day and they didn't fix then either. We did all the dishes by hand but the the single large sink design didn't make that any easier. Also, the left refrigerator door wouldn't open all the way because the design of the door requires clearance on the sides. More importantly though we couldn't get the freezer drawer to close. Much of the food in the freezer would not stay frozen but it also pumped cold air into the house. We were there when the temps fell into the teens and the lower level of the house leaks air badly. We could not get the downstairs above the low 60's all the while the second level was in the low 70's and no matter how hard we tried to manage the upstairs would be in the low 80's . If we opened an upstairs window the cold air would just settle downstairs. If you're a lite sleeper beware that a main rail line is across the street. They don't blow a horn but it rumbles. That didn't really bother us but I could see how it would bother others. I think the property gets an A for effort but simple improvements are needed.

Great house! Host and owner was very nice and helpful. We had an unforeseen water problem but they took great care of us. Lots of stairs so maybe not ideal for some people who have trouble with stairs and inclined walkways.

Great spot tucked away in KC
Looks like this home is on busy highway 32, but don’t be fooled. It feels very tucked away and the outside living space is a great place to entertain family or friends. Beautiful and comfortable home was great for our family and two hounds. Highly recommend.
