Belvedere Flats offers a 3 bedroom 1.5 bath fully remodeled unit located above a commercial space in the heart of Westport. This space provide guests with a true oasis in the heart of the city. Walk to all of Westport and enjoy local eateries, shops and bars along the way. On vacation but still need to work? No problem! The private work space and high speed WIFI make working remotely seamless. Guests will also have shared access to the privately fenced in courtyard which offers seating!

Host will not be on site during the stay but is phone call, text or email away!

Midtown Kansas City and the famous Westport area is one of Kansas City’s top entertainment districts. The neighborhood is home to a number of restaurants and bars, including Kelly's Westport Inn, an Irish-themed bar located inside the oldest building in Kansas City.

WHERE TO EAT LUNCH: With most of the 30 restaurants, 25 bars and 15 patios located within walking distances, there’s definitely no shortage of unique cuisine in Westport. Many restaurants, such as Cancun Fiesta Fresh, Char Bar and Joe’s Pizza, are open for quick lunches; or sit down with friends and co-workers for lunch at Snooze Eatery, Fat Sully's Pizza, Port Fonda and Jerusalem Café.

ANNUAL SPECIAL EVENTS: Kansas City's Annual St. Patrick's Day parade has made its mark as one of the largest and most notable parade celebrations of all things Irish in the United States.

An annual art festival in September, Art Westport brings together more than 100 local and regional artists and craftsmen in an atmospheric open-air environment.

Guest will have access to the entire unit and shared access to the privately fenced in courtyard.

A shared outdoor courtyard with plenty of seating to catch up with old friends or a large kitchen to cook a meal and enjoy with your family! The living space has plenty of room for you and your guests no matter the occasion.

The Belvedere flats are located in Westport, Kansas City right above 2 commercial spaces. The units can be rented together for larger parties, however, this listing is only for one unit.

Guests will have access to enter the unit 2 ways. There is access located on the back and front side of the building. When accessing the unit via the front door there are stairs immediately inside that lead to the living room. The colorful and spacious living room opens to the dining room that has a large table with ample seating for 6. The living room is also equipped with a large Smart TV that will conveniently meet your streaming needs! This is the perfect spot for working, sharing meals or a game night!

Right off the living room and dining room areas is the fully stocked kitchen. If you love to cook then this kitchen is for you ! Fully equipped with cookware, utensils, bakeware and dinnerware you'll have what you need to try out that new recipe! If you are someone that refuses to cook on vacation, don't worry! You'll have over 45 restaurants all around you, many at your doorstep. Coffee lover?? We got you!! Cozy in KC provides all properties with a fully enhanced coffee bar that includes a Keurig Coffee Maker, Drip Coffee Maker, French Press and Pour Over brewing options along with a variety of k-cups, creamer and sugar!

The Belvedere 1 unit features three bedrooms and one and a half bathrooms. The first bedroom is equipped with a comfy queen size bed, the next two bedrooms are equipped with cozy king sized beds, one that also includes a private work space and tv. All bedrooms have night stands with reading lamps and charging stations, sounds machines, extra blankets and plenty of space to store your clothes and luggage.

This home has one and a half bathrooms. Both bathrooms are located in the hall and are not attached to any of the bedrooms. There is one full-sized bathroom that has a large walk in standing shower that has been remodeled with beautiful mosaic tiles. The full bathroom includes Tommy Bahama luxury bath products such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. Each guest will be provided one large bath towel and one wash cloth along with hand towels and dark make -up towels for convenience.

Exiting the back door of the unit you will be greeted with a newly remodeled courtyard. Upon opening the door you are led down to the grassy yard by a beautiful deck. The grassy yard has yard games and seating for you to enjoy! This space is shared with the unit and guests next door whenever that unit is occupied.

Parking: The Flats do not have private off street parking. Street parking will be available on the side street right next to the unit.

It's pretty much central to everything in KC. Power & Light, Plaza, and Crossroads are all close by. Best of all, Westport is a 5-minute walk away. The accommodations were as detailed on VRBO. No surprises! We would definitely stay here again!

I have been staying in VRBO's for years and this was my first bad experience. We booked this room for a girls weekend Hallmark experience.We headed at 9pm after event was over and arrived in a desolate dark sketch neighborhood.The door had the flimsiest lock ever and we did not feel comfortable even staying. We ended up driving to a hotel instead. Very sad. If you are alone or female do not book this!!!!

When we booked this, the property had a 5/5 star rating which was part of why we booked it even though it was a little more expensive than other options. While there was nothing “wrong” with the property, I certainly wouldn’t say it was a 10/10. The apartment was dusty and there was an odd smell in the kitchen. There was also a homeless person posted up at the front door who literally fell into the apartment when we opened the front door from the inside lol. I definitely recommend using the back door through the gated courtyard—that was a nice touch and made it feel safer. Also, we were given the wrong door code originally, but the property manager promptly responded to my message regarding this. She was very friendly and accommodating. We only needed 2 of the 3 bedrooms, but one bedroom’s light and fan did not work. Again, this property worked for what we needed it for but it wasn’t what I would consider “exceptional”.

Clean, bright apartment with walkability
Everything in the apartment was tidy and clean! The bedrooms are all spacious and have desks or dressers to place items on and room for bags, etc. Love that they all had ceiling fans too! The front stairs up to the apartment are steep but the back stairs through the courtyard are very manageable and closer to the street parking (pay attention to the signs on the side street, some days/hours limit parking to 1-2 hours in certain sections). We enjoyed walking to restaurants and coffee shops north of the apartment (rec: Broadway Cafe & Jerusalem Cafe). There are grocery stores and such within walking distance as well, although some crosswalks and sidewalks were not very accessible. We didn't really have issues with noise, it seemed to quiet down in the late evening. Check-in and Check-out was easy and they were able to accommodate late check-out which we really appreciated. I'd stay again!

Three old college buddies in town for a Chiefs game
I rent on Vrbo on an off over the years and a couple of friends of mine and I plan a trip to Kansas City to see a Chiefs game. I wanted the three of us to stay in one place instead of getting three different hotel rooms figured it’d be more fun to hang out After the night and just sit around and talk about old times the family kids and all that. This place is wonderful. Easy to get to easy Street parking safe neighborhood great three bedroom open floor plan well lit cool loft nice kitchen, nice bathroom, king beds, and all three rooms , really perfect for everything we were looking for and needed. I would highly recommend it and if we ever come back I’ll definitely look this place up again. I would say this place would be great for three friends or two families or family with two or three kids .
