Nice and clean, pleasant staff and comfortable beds, but poor ventilation in the room.

Ok stay

We've stsyed hete a few times. Akeays clean and no problems. This visit seemed different. The main room was clean and the bed was nicely made with obvious cjean sheets. The bathroom was ok. There was a big water puddke on the counter, the bathmat was half wet and a couple hairs on the edge if the tub. Granted, the room may have just been cleared causing all the wetness in tbe bathroom, but the wet batmat and counter were very obvious. The fire sprinkler was surrounded by mold or rust; it was hard to tell. The beds were very comfortable and, as I said, the room was clean. The main lobby and swimming area were all nice too. They do provide a breakfast. It's has a good variety to choose from and an eating area. The staff is very friendly.

We got there before check in at 3 hoping a room would be available because we needed to change our cloths for a wedding we came in town to attend. The wedding started at 4. He told us the room was not ready. We booked a king. We then sat in the lobby to wait. After a few minutes he then said the room was ready. The hotel looked like it was newly renovated however the there were places in the room that were original, very worn. The bathroom was not very clean, mold on the caulk in one corner and the toilet seat was broken. The sliding barn door to the bathroom was very hard to close and didn’t cover the entire opening.

We always stay here when attending Royals or Chiefs games because it is very convenient and typically cheaper and nicer than hotels near the stadiums. The beds are comfortable. Staff is friendly. The bathroom door is a pocket door without a real handle so it doesn’t completely close or lock. Just a weird choice given everything else in the room is great. Breakfast is decent. Hotel is clean.

Close to lots of shopping. BUT……was dirty. Plus the 100$ deposit was surprising. Could be a great stay if it was cleaner and staff wasn’t slow and misunderstanding. If you are a shower person who needs pressure….this is not the place for you.
