A very nice and new/updated option on the southeast side of Kansas City. No issues whatsoever and a very comfortable weekend stay. Stayed with our soccer team and utilized common/meeting space for team dinner and meetings, which was also very convenient. The breakfast buffet was also very decent. Overall, a very good experience.

The area was quiet, and we didn't hear noises from other guests. The staff was courteous. The beds were comfortable. The room was filthy though-- countertops unclean; the restroom had stray hairs in the shower, sink and toilet; the floors felt sticky and the carpets left dirty residue on our socks. The pool was slippery and floors had zero drainage for water spillover, making it very slippery. The towels were consistently not stocked there, leaving everyone to walk to the front desk sopping wet to ask for some. The guest towels were not absorbent and left fluff all over everyone. The pool towels were better than the guest towels.

Lady at the front desk charged us extra for our two children under the of 12. After we had already paid for our 15 and 17 year old. She said they charge any child over the age of 12 as an adult. No where in their website does it say that. Also all the sheets were stained. Not once did we have room service clean our room out of the 3 nights we stayed. We had to keep asking for towels and toilet paper. Overall worst experience. Definitely don’t recommend to stay here.

Perfect location. Quick drive to ball field and starlight theater. Pool is small but never was busy. Lots of breakfast options.

This hotel seemed to be well put together, unfortunately when you are greeted at the front counter with various warnings of policies you quickly find out this is a cheap hotel trying to compete with the name brand hotels. Unfortunately this cheap hotel isn’t cheap in price, but every other aspect of this hotel is cheap. The staff were not friendly, breakfast was terrible (we left early to stop for breakfast elsewhere) The room itself was average. Lots of things needed to be fixed but it wasn't terrible.

Very Comfortable Stay
Hotel was very clean and comfortable. Everything in the room was updated with usb pluhs on each side of the bed and reading lights as well as lamps on each side.

The thermostat was off the wall with screws hanging out the back. The fridge still had stuff from the last ppl in it. There was a spit wad on the ceiling. The bathroom ceiling looked like it was about to fall in. Generally not well kept. Breakfast was awful.

Room doors don't latch
Overall it was a non-eventful stay. However, after I left my room after several hours I realized the door never latched. So anytime I went in or out of the room, I had to physically make sure the door was shut. Around 11pm on my 2nd night I went downstairs and noticed another room's door wasn't latched - so I told the front desk, who apparently did nothing about it and it was still like that when I went back to my room 20 mins later. When I left at 9am the next morning that door and at least 3 others weren't latched. I'd think they'd be more concerned that the room doors automatic closures weren't closing the room doors all the way especially since the lobby doors are locked at 11PM and guests can only use them with key card.
