Appearantly one of our rooms had flooded. The carpet was wet and the room smelled horrible. We got moved only for the key to not work. They offer breakfast for 3 hours but apparently only make food for the first hour. The rooms were dirty but after you have paid and cant find another reservation you are stuck. I bet our room hadnt been vacuumed in a month. No tp in room.

The breakfast area was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable. The location was excellent. The furniture was dirty. The air filter on the air handler was obviously filthy because the ceiling was covered in black dust where the air conditioning vents were. There was a food delivery bag with waste outside a room four doors from ours for two days, even though the room across the hall from it was serviced after one day. The housekeeper did not pick it up.

Room was fine. Hotel was quiet which was nice. Breakfast was decent. Staff was good but they definitely need a person to staff just the dining room for breakfast. Girl who was at the front desk was having to keep the breakfast food filled up and check people out. Too much for one person.

Terrible conditions.
This hotel is in rough shape. We left right after checking in due to conditions. Common areas need some TLC. Our room had mold covering the vents, holes in the sheetrock, and stained carpets. The pillows were tiny and all the sheets had just been put on inside out. Made us question if they were even washed. This did not feel like a clean hotel and we were not comfortable spending the night.

Hotel was OK for the price. Good location close to shopping and music event. Hotel is pretty run down and could use some TLC. Our room was damp like we were in a basement and could t get the damp out no matter what we did. Hotel was quiet and the breakfast had a great selection. Hotel staff were good.

Terrible Stay
KC Hotel We had MULTIPLE problems with our room, from the time we have checked in to now and we still have another night. When we checked in, they were not sure they had a room for us and it was 4:30 pm. From what we are aware, checkin was 3:00 pm. They gave us keys and we went to our room. When we tried to enter the room, the door would not unlock. We went to the front desk and they said they would send someone down. A man walked down in front of us and asked if we were in “there” too and we said we are waiting because we can’t get into our room. We waited at least 10 minutes and kept trying but could not get in. We went back to the front desk and she called to if they were close to our room, 128. The man who walked down in front of us came out of the room across the hall eating and said, do you need help? This was the same man who saw us earlier. He offered us no help at that time. He acted as if we were an inconvenience and talked to us like we didn’t know how to unlock a door. He said, “sometimes they stick but you just have to slow down, he tried and it did NOT open. We left at 11 the NXT day and returned at 5 to our room being open with no one around. The front desk called housekeeping, they had problems with the lock too. Apparently they finished and left it open. We do not know how long it was like that and who had access to our room. We could not file a complaint because the front desk did not properly register us and our reservation # was invalid

I have never had such trouble getting checked in. They apparently had computer issues, but were willing to take 25.00 more to let me check in after 2 pm when check in was at 3. This was our go to place to stay near Legands. They won’t have my business again. They had better step up their game with all the activities in that area.
