As good as we would expect

This hotel was as good as we have come to expect from HIE. Beds were comfortable, bathroom nicely appointed with a big lighted mirror. We were pleased to see that they have adopted the current fashion of providing liquid soaps and hair products in dispensers, rather than bars or cakes. The window coverings provided excellent light blocking and modesty. The breakfast was very good. the breakfast room attendant was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is located close to a variety of decent eateries.

Everything was good, except the elevator it did not work for a while, we used the stairs from the 3rd floor

Our stay was ok. Room was clean, but the carpet throughout the hotel felt dirty, made my shoes squeek when coming onto tiled floor as if sticky. If walking barefoot, I wouldn't advise it..it felt greasy and nasty. I wore my husbands socks as I'd forgotten my slippers. The breakfast was good, attendant was very attentive to everyones needs. Pool looked very clean and nice area. Front desk staff were nice and took care in timely manner. We generally stay at HIE, but this one I'm pretty sure we would find another one to try out.
