Stay during men's B12 bball tournament

Excellent location. Neighborhood very quiet. House was tremendous. Very safe and outside lighting was great. Would definitely stay again

It was dirty, the floors were dirty, the sheets were disgusting with stains and smelled awful,

This place should not be a VRBRO, it was dirty. There floors were dirty, the sheets were stained and smelled awful. The shower curtain had MOLD on it. The yard had trash on it and the trash had not been picked up in weeks. I asked for a discount and the owner gave me a $20 discount. I have pictures of the place. How can I contact someone to send them to? To be honest I should have been charged anything for staying in this disgusting place.

The offer to have a cleaner return as well as check-out for evaluation were both declined. convenient and affordable

Property was well maintained. Nice appliances. Very comfortable and affordable. A few stray dogs around the neighborhood but they were friendly. Would stay again

KC Trip

Was there on business for about a week. Place was clean but not spectacular. To be fair, maybe no one had stayed for a while before we got there but dusty and just not up to “covid cleanliness” as the handbook on the table described. Sheets for the bed were in the dryer but did not seemed like they were washed. I’m sure they might have been, we rewashed everything to be sure. Not really something you want to do after a 12 hour drive but whatever. Bathroom sink is practically unusable, unless you’re a 5 year old. We used the kitchen sink to brush our teeth and get ready. If you stay there, you’ll understand. The area was quiet but not as friendly as you’d think. Random dogs roaming around, I had an encounter with a huge Rottweiler, thankfully he wasn’t hungry. A few suspicious characters walking around at night but as stated quiet. I think the place is great for a night or two but for an extended stay it reminded me why I gave up my studio apartment living and grew up.

I showed up after midnight due to my flight. Janine did not tell me that the door I needed to use was in the side. I found the door. It was very dark with no lighting. I had to walk down a path with leaves and large branches covering the walkway and tripped a few times. The code that she gave me to get in (on the keypad) did not work. Thankfully my Uber driver stayed with me. He tried to get in as well, with no success. We tried calling Janine several times to get help. I had to find a hotel at 2:00 am. Janine was not willing to give me a full refund, only a partial refund. She told me there were lights, but there was not. She sent me a picture of her keypad history, and it did not show me entering anything, so she would not refund the entire amount. However, her picture showed the keypad results for times that were before I arrived. My Uber driver and I both tried the keypad with the code she gave me several times. I would not recommend this host to anyone.

Lori, I appreciate your review. Please consider my response and communication after your unfortunate travel experience. We never had a guest experience issues with checking into the property. As shown in the listing, the property is located on a corner lot and has two doors on the main level. The listing advises that the property has a private driveway. Your driver did not drive into the driveway that has a censor light that would have turned and where you would have walked to the main door. The driver parked on the opposite street that is not the address of the property. It appears you attempted to enter the basement door which is below the main story of the house and directly beneath the door you could have entered. I supplied proof of the property door access history along with the cameras footage showing that no one attempted to enter the main door of the property. The keypad history was for the entire week that will show time stamps of entry as well of any errors. I am more than happy to supply the full recording. You mentioned you had tried to reach me after my available hours. Therefore, I contacted VRBO to check on your reservation and was advised that you had not contacted them regarding any issues on the day of nor days following the incident. You mentioned that you did not read any details regarding the host availability nor the VRBO reservation details. In cases of emergency, VRBO provides 24/7 support in which they would attempt to reach a host on all phone number(s) provided and if necessary, would have rebooked your reservation with no additional cost to you. Understanding that you had late travels and with this consideration, I refund majority of the reservation with the exception of one night. However, the property was available for check-in, Unfortunately you went to the wrong door. We provided majority refund to you as we understand that sometimes guests do not always have great travel experiences leading up to arrival.

Beautiful home. Very easy check in and out with no problems during our stay. Very well stocked with toilet paper, towels linens, dish soap etc.
