A beautiful historical property nestled in the heart of one of Kansas City’s most beautiful areas. In addition to being so close to the iconic Nelson-Atkins Museum, there are so many great restaurant options, unique shopping, and much to see and do nearby. A wonderful quiet retreat after a day/evening enjoying the city and all it has to offer.

Nice property
Publié le 16 sept. 2024 sur HotelsThe property is comfortable, and looks great. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and in the garden next to the water feature. The parking lot is very tight, and has just enough spots for 1 car per room. The location is very convenient with many restaurants within easy walking distance.

We do give our guests a heads up the back parking lot at the end of the drive is tight, but do offer some additional parking on the left hand side of the driveway as you're pulling in, as well as free street parking!

Love this area and have stayed in a few of the restored mansions/hotels. This one definitely is not kept up like others. Room and bathroom very small and home overall showing its age. Should have noted that room was on 3rd floor.

Thank you for staying with us and leaving your review. We are always looking for room for improvement, and greatly value our guests input. I'm very sorry to hear the property and your stay was not up to standard. We do work hard to upkeep the property, but this is an older historic mansion. Our queen bedrooms on the 3rd floor (George Caleb Bingham, Mary Atkins, & William Gilliss) are the smaller (and more cost efficent) options. The room locations are also listed on the website, confirmation email, and welcome message we send out the morning of our guests arrival. I'm sorry you missed it!

Wonderful location! Walking distance to 2 museums with lots of eating options. Loved the large balcony off the room. Has lots of pretty spots on the grounds to sit at outside. The only negative was the bathroom didn’t have any space to put toiletries, though we got creative with the space. Recommend if you want to stay somewhere other than a chain hotel.

The property is a bit older but very well kept inside and out. The parking right off the street on the property was very convenient. We had a very nice stay.
