There was a big snow a week ago and while the lot had been somewhat plowed and some of the snow had melted, the sidewalks were snowy and icy. There appeared to have been a minor effort to scatter some ice melt near the door, but much of the lot remained icy, as did the sidewalks. Be sure to book a handicapped room if you don't like stairs. There is no elevator to the second floor rooms, only stairs.

We reserved a 'king suite' for our baby to sleep undisturbed from tv etc. when we checked in we were given what was advertised on the website as the 'deluxe king'. When we asked the front desk, the lady told us we were in a suite and wouldn't offer any assistance all while continuing to text on her cell phone.
