Un séjour aussi court ne peut fournir le temps nécessaire pour apprécier pleinement tout ce que l'emplacement a à offrir, ni les commodités que nous offrons pour rendre votre séjour plus agréable. As for the pillows, we are sorry to learn of your experience. We did just replace the pillows two weeks ago when we were staying in our condo. However, we have instructed Marvis to check on that issue. I do know that the pillow cases were washed just prior to your stay, and both pillows have double pillow protectors on them. Nevertheless, had we been informed during your stay that there was an issue with the pillows, we would have been happy to bring you replacements. However, we did not learn about this issue until we read it in your review. We always want to do everything that we can to make guests comfortable, so if you stay with us again, please kindly let us know during your stay if there is anything that needs our attention, and we will be happy to assist you! Wailua Beach is used mostly for surfing, boogie boarding, parasailing, etc. However, Lydgate Beach Park is just down the street, and they have a very nice swimming beach and an area set aside for snorkeling. Mr. Graham, We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the amazing ocean views from our very private outdoor lanai and that you enjoyed our central location and working with our housekeeper, Marvis. As for the air conditioning, the condo has A/C in the bedroom, as was advertised, and we have multiple ceiling and stand-alone fans, and doors that open up to the ocean in the living room to help keep the condo cool. As for your concerns about the smell that you said was outside, you informed us during our phone call with you that the smell had existed for only one to two hours and for only two days of your trip. We understand that Marvis immediately went over to the condo, and although she could not smell anything, she brought you a candle and some room deodorizer, both of which you told her you did not want. Marvis also suggested that you temporarily turn on the air conditioning and close the windows in the bedroom to reduce any smell that you were experiencing from the outdoors. We called you as soon as we learned of your complaint. We offered to give you a refund and we offered to help you look for another place to stay, as there were many vacancies on the island that were available for you to book if you wanted to check-out of our condo early. However, you told us that you did not want to leave our place and that you instead wanted to stay. We then offered to give you a gift card for a local restaurant, which you also declined, and you said you did not want that. During our phone call, we very kindly explained to you that we had never smelled anything like what you were describing, and that we had never heard of that happening, so we did not know where the smell you were describing was coming from. Nevertheless, you told us that you did not believe us, and you hung up on us. We actually had no idea that you eventually checked out one day early until we happened to see your review on our VRBO account. You did not notify us that you were checking out one day before your scheduled departure, and you never requested a refund. We have spoken to the condo complex's property manager and the assistant property manager, and they have both informed us that they did not tell you what you claim they told you. They both confirmed that they did not smell anything when they were talking to you out in the parking lot. They also both confirmed that they are not aware of anyone else checking out early due a smell in the vicinity. Thank you very much, and we wish you the best for a happy and bright future!
