Le système de ventilation (8 fans) est assez bruyant et modérément efficace.
Un air climatisé, même petit, ferait une grande différence. La proximité de la plage est bien, mais des chaises seraient appréciées. Ok pour courts séjours (1 ou 2 nuits)

Comfortable, convenient, affordable

The room itself had everything you needed, comfortable bed, small kitchen area with coffee make, microwave and refrigerator

Sunrise in Paradise
Publié le 25 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayDavid's condo is suitable for 2 people. It is furnished with a king sized bed and is actually very spacious for a studio. We loved starting each day by opening our front door, cup of coffee in hand, and walking less than 50 yards to the beach to watch the sunrise. The location was perfect for us because it is halfway between the north and the south. If you have excursions planned like hiking, diving, kayaking, snorkeling, or exploring remote beaches, then this condo will be just right for you. If you are looking for a place where you want to spend the bulk of your visit and cook your meals in-unit, then you might be disappointed here. We loved our stay here and we would book again. The communication with our host was excellent from start to finish and the property as a whole is very well taken care of. It is quiet here, too. As a bonus, each time you drive out of the complex, you are facing a beautiful Wyland mural that you get to admire.

This studio unit is the perfect landing spot for guests looking to be at a central location with ease of access going to the north and south sides of Kauai. This unit does not have a kitchen but there is a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee pot for guests to use. I do have other listings equipped with a full kitchen and would be happy to provide those recommendations. It was great having you as a guest!

Simple but Adequate
Publié le 10 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a busy schedule planned for our Kauai trip, so we didn't intend to do much more than sleep and shower in our room. If that's your intention, this could be a good choice, as both the bed and shower worked well. This was one of the cheapest rentals we could find on the island, so that was nice too. In addition, if you intend to travel to both the north and south parts of the island, this is a good central location, as it's about an hour to the furthest point in either direction. We did use the frig and microwave for quick snacks, and those also worked well. There's also a good ceiling fan and mini-split cooling system.
However, this should not be viewed as a luxury accommodation. The room is small, and the furnishings are low end. The louvered windows let in some air, but flow-through cooling doesn't really happen. And leaving them open removes all privacy for the bedroom, which is just inside those windows. Depending on the climate you're used to, this may be adequate. But if you struggle with sleeping under warm, humid conditions, you'll need to use the in-room cooler. This is also a joint room, meaning it has a locked common door for those who would like to share two connected rooms. But this door is far from sound-proof. This is true for the walls and ceilings as well. Unless your neighbors are very quiet, you will hear a lot of talking, walking, plumbing sounds, etc.
The parking for this unit is a dirt area along a row of trees, a bit of a walk from the unit.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We try to offer guests affordable accommodations at a centrally located unit near the beach and pool in Kauai perfect for exploring the beauty of the island. We try to provide useful amenities for guests during their stay given the accommodations. Our goal is not to compete with high-end luxurious resorts that charge an arm and a leg for travelers coming to Kauai as it can be expensive to visit one of the Hawaiian islands. Most places in Hawaii do not have AC and were not built that way because they were made to naturally cool the units with the trade winds on the island. There is AC in this unit along with ceiling fan and fans for a cool stay. This room is locked out from the neighboring unit so neither people from either side can enter which is how most units are rented at this condo similar to a lock out hotel room. There is potential for noise as this is a condo complex near the beach at a central location with numerous conveniences nearby. Parking is included and we provide instructions for guests on where they can park without adding additional parking fees which is very common for Hawaii since there is limited parking available on the island. We appreciate your stay very much and are always thankful for guests who choose our place to stay on the beautiful island of Kauai.

Publié le 25 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayVery clean room with AC! Included plenty of clothes hangers, towels, and dishes. Only downside was no laundry but there is a laundromat just a 7 minute walk away. Would recommend to stay here!

Thank you for the review. This cozy studio is centrally located at the heart of Kapaa and just steps away from the beach and pool. Grocery store, restaurants, and shops are just a block from the unit as well!

Better than expected!!

While just a kitchenette of sorts, with a mini fridge/freezer, there was also a coffee pot and quite a few kitchen amenities such as a knife and cutting board, utensils and wine opener! Lots of fans and a mini split ac unit if needed, but we used the louvered window to get some nice air in the room! While not
Ocean side, we were right around the corner from the ocean and the pool! The grills were great as was the ping pong room right there to have fun while we cooked our food! The location was super ideal, very central to go north or south, lots of restaurants, Starbucks and grocery nearby! Boss Frog rental was also close!
We had a great week here and will definitely recommend this unit to family and friends!! Aloha!!
