Great stay except one thing
Publié le 5 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved the convenient location and amenities that were afforded to us during the stay. The pool was great, close proximity to family-friendly beaches, and other restaurants and shopping. The only thing that was not great was the cleanliness of the unit. We found our feet were incredibly dirty at the end of the first day, simply from walking on the floor in the condo with bare feet. The vacuum was clogged and had virtually no suction. We were able to clear the clog which consisted of debris from several stays accumulated prior to us. We vacuumed the carpet and mopped the tile floors. That helped tremendously and allowed us to keep our feet clean for the rest of the stay. There were also several small bugs crawling on almost every surface. We don't know if this was due to the neglect of the cleaning staff or just an attribute of the area and time of our stay. They are everywhere though including the cooking surfaces and bathrooms. Other than the cleaning issues, the stay was great! The room and view are amazing. The in-unit washer and dryer were a dream.

Thank you for being our guest! Please allow us to speak to a few things mentioned in this review. To start, we take cleanliness very seriously, and it's challenging as a management company to receive feedback like this after the fact, especially when we heard nothing negative from the guests about cleanliness, bugs, or the vacuum when they were here. The last thing our cleaning team does is mop out the floors on their way to exiting the room before the guest arrives, so if a guest arrives and walks in with their shoes on, the kitchen floors will not be as clean as they should be or were when we left the room. Most visitors don't take their shoes off when entering like we do (island tradition). The night this guest arrived, he called to complain that there were no sheets for the sleeper sofa when, in fact, there were. There was no mention of any cleanliness issues, and there were no "bugs crawling on almost every surface." Again, we take pest control very seriously, and a professional pest control company treats the property every quarter. We had not had any feedback before this guest's arrival, and we have not had any since mentioning anything about bugs. Our team also found no trace of bugs. Ultimately, we wish the guest had a five-star experience, and we hope to do better next time.

Fantastic family friendly resort

Trip of a lifetime

Great stay in Kapa'a
Publié le 12 juill. 2021 sur HomeAwayOverall, our stay was really great. Loved the property. Loved the pool. Unit was great - felt very clean and properly equipped. One thing that happened to us - first night we were there we all went to the pool and only took one device (which had our door code in it) and it ran out of batteries. Was a bit concerning for a bit, but found a way to charge it and retrieve the code. For other guests would recommend writing it down somewhere and carrying it with you, since this is not a hotel and you can't just go to front desk to get a new key....hazards of this age when we rely on technology too much. Overall, great place, great stay.
