Lae Nani Beautiful Oceanfront Condo with newly installed AC 2BR/2BA

This two bedroom, two bath condo is located in the stunning oceanfront Lae Nani Resort on Kauai's East Shore. It is a second floor end unit featuring a large covered lanai, perfect for outdoor dining, with unobstructed views of the ocean and Wailua Bay.

Lae Nani is a gated oceanfront condominium complex, roughly seven miles north of the Lihue Airport and a quarter mile north of the mouth of the Wailua River, Kauai's largest river. It's centrally located in the town of Kapa'a for easy access to all areas of the island.

The resort is exquisitely landscaped with lush tropical vegetation and offers a large oceanfront pool and patio, with gas BBQs available for guests. There is also an on site coin-op laundry close to the unit.

Lae Nani is one of several condominium complexes on Papaloa Road, which runs from the north side of the Wailua River to the Coconut Marketplace shopping center. Unique to Lae Nani, however, is a beautiful white sand beach, popular with locals, guests and tourists alike. Constructed many years ago on this beach, a keiki pond (a three-sided black lava rock breakwater) creates a protected pool that is shallower, warmer and calmer than the surrounding ocean.

The condo was recently renovated. The kitchen features granite countertops, cabinets and appliances. There is a four-burner glass top range, large stainless steel refrigerator, stainless dishwasher and a built-in microwave. We have all the pans and kitchen supplies to cook a gourmet feast.

The two bathrooms have also been remodeled, with custom walk-in showers, beautiful tilework and vanities with granite tops. New luxury plank flooring throughout the unit provide a cool, clean look.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and attached bath. The second bedroom has two new twin XL beds and attached bathroom.

There are an assortment of beach toys for guests to use including beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkel masks, and sand toys for children to play with.

The Coconut Marketplace is an easy walk away and has many shops that cater to tourists. Kapa'a town is about a mile north of Lae Nani with bicycle, snorkel and beach gear rental, a Safeway grocery store, drug stores, banks, restaurants and farmer's markets. Rent bikes in town and take them onto the new bike path that begins close to the condo and winds north along the ocean for many miles.

Kauai is a small enough island that most visitors want to explore it all, from Waimea Canyon and Koke`e State Park on the West Side, to Hanalei town and the tropical lagoon at Ke`e beach in the North. Lae Nani is conveniently located about halfway between these two road's-end points. We think you'll love exploring the beaches, towns, rivers, falls, jungles and attractions Kauai has to offer, and returning each night to the beautiful and tranquil Lae Nani Resort.

I have to start with the No AC. I was nervous that we where going to melt to death, but the condo stayed cool. Even needed a blanket at bed time. Great view of the ocean and the breeze was amazing. The condo was comfortable and clean. Access to the beach was easy and the condo had beach chairs, snorkel gear and said toys. Condo was close to shopping and main highway.

Great location, fantastic condo with everything needed for a great vacation. Really liked the louvred windows for a fresh and cooling breeze throughout the condo. To top it all off the swimming pool was fantastic too, especially at night when it was lit up.

Perfect Getaway
We just loved this place; it was perfect for our 1st getaway to Kauai.In fact, our kids said that when we come back to Kauai we should stay here again! We loved having the pool and beach equipment extras here so we didn’t have to rent them! Perfect!
It was our first time to the island. We decided on this condo because of it’s central location and it was a great decision. We had excursions to the north (turtle beach, kalalau trail), south (poipu beach, luau and boat tour), east (helicopter) and west (wameia canyon). The condo itself is nicely updated and the grounds are gorgeous. There is even a restaurant right on the beach facing the ocean just steps away. What a nice surprise. A little hidden gem. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend.

Stay in paradise
Location! Location! Location! This place was the perfect home base for our family. It’s easily within walking distance of restaurants and shops, yet private enough away from that hustle and bustle. It’s set back from the water, but that’s no problem. You get a great view and the ocean is just steps away. We stayed for a week and took a couple trips north to the north side, which is only about 30 minutes. We took a few trips to the south and west sides of the island and that wasn’t far either. There is a lot to do close by or you can just hang out. Very well stocked and very comfortable for our family of four.

This trip was supposed to happen in January 2022 but due to covid numbers, we had to postpone to November. The host was accommodating and we finally made it. The property is as advertised, lots of dishes, pots, pans and towel, and everything worked well. The cross breeze and fans in the unit made a/c unnecessary. The host was very responsive and that was appreciated. We would definitely stay here again.
