You will find yourself right on the ocean and far from the highway! Sit and relax on your private lanai while watching the waves roll into Wailua beach. The view is truly spectacular. Many guests have shared stories of watching whales breach on the ocean surface for hours at a time right from the lanai.

Wailua Bay View is centrally located near Kapaa by the famous Wailua River and old Coco Palms resort where Elvis filmed 'Blue Hawaii'. It is only 10 minutes from the airport and is a perfect location to base from when sightseeing on the Garden Isle. The condo is situated directly over beautiful Wailua Beach and is only a short walk to Papaloa beach, a protected cove for babies and young children. Lydgate Park is less than a 5 minute drive which boasts the best playground on Kauai. In addition, the County of Kauai just finished a bike path that borders Wailua Bay View and stretches from Kealia Beach to Lydgate park, more than 8 miles in length.
These ground floor units are just steps from the pool and barbeque area. The private lanai is complete with railing for extra security . This makes a perfect set up for families either with or without children, with no stairs to lug up suitcases and groceries. Our condo comes with a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit. We also offer free wireless high speed internet, a huge brand new LCD 50 inch flat screen TV, cable TV, Netflix access, Amazon Prime Video access, unlimited telephone usage throughout the United States and Canada, a king-sized bed, a sofabed, a single futon and even a pack and play/crib for little ones.

Good Times
The location was great as well as the host. Easy walking distance to a few restaurants and shops and one of the best bakeries is right across the street. My fav was the Ube Malasada and the coffee was also yum. Thank you Passion Bakery!The only slight con was some of the road noise which didn’t bother us but might bother others. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Budget friendly rental with basic amenities in an excellent location. Although the bedroom has air conditioning, we found that trade winds and open windows were sufficient. The host is very accommodating and the complex is well maintained and quiet.

The apartment was quiet and relaxing. Our morning coffee on the lanai was a great start to the day. We appreciated the use of the beach chairs and towels. The kitchen was large with lots of equipment, I wish there had been a few basic food items to cook with such as cooking spray, condiments… But overall it’s a fantastic place to venture out and explore Kauai. We would definitely come back.

Wonderful spacious condo with wonderful view and sound of ocean. Plenty of room for all of and well equipped for all our cooking needs. Also came with beach chairs, cooler and boogie board. Nice clean pool on premises as well. It was a very quiet complex. We will definitely stay there again. We loved that it felt very local in Kapa’a.

GREAT Spot, better for couples
Staying at a condo with the ocean waves crashing right out your backdoor and the breeze blowing through the sliding door was alone worth it. The main bed was comfy, but the sleeper sofa was terribly uncomfortable. That's why I say it's a great fit for a couple who wouldn't need to use the sofa bed. We actually took the sleeper mattress off of the stiff metal frame and set it on the floor, which made it tolerable. Check in was a breeze, and my kids enjoyed having the pool right outside the door whenever they wanted a freshwater dip. The kitchen was well stocked, though the knives and cookware were on their last legs. The coconut marketplace was a short walk up the street, where we caught a Jiu Jitsu class and shave ice. We enjoyed many breakfasts out on the lanai. I'd stay here again, purely for the location.

Dark accommodation
The view from the slider was beautiful and the bed was reasonably comfortable. In general, the condo is "tired" and very dark. Even something simple as painting over the scratched door would have helped the overall aesthetics. Kitchen & bathroom cabinets are dark, furnishings are dark, poor lighting throughout except the bathroom. Theoretically the condo can accommodate 4 individuals. There was one towel rack that could barely hold towels for 2 and there were only 2 dining chairs. Dishware and utensils in the kitchen cabinets were unimpressive. One cabinet door refused to stay closed so you needed to be careful not to hit your head on the door. There was a throw cover over the sofa that made one wonder how dirty it might have been beneath; maybe it was supposed to keep the sofa clean, but it gave me a different impression. We could not find a telephone in the condo as mentioned in the description. Although it is probably beyond the owner's control, there is a very noisy rooster who crows even before sunrise and throughout dinnertime. By far this is not a terrible place, just not impressive in any good way. The photos looked much better. I probably would not stay here again. I just got the feeling that the owners were not very interested in making the condo a comfortable, vacation stay for the clients.

Es ist eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit kompletter Einrichtung. Die Lage mit Blick auf den tosenden Ozean ist toll. Die gesamte Anlage ist sauber und gepflegt. Der Gärtner und der Pool Service waren jeden Tag da. Man ist ganz schnell in der Stadt und kann alles was man braucht einkaufen. Die Nähe zur Straße ist kein Problem. Man hört sie nicht,da der Ozan so rauscht. Sehr zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank.

Great stay
We loved the sounds of the waves crashing! Initially disappointed in the beach at the property, but there are so many beaches in the area to check out. Lydgate was our favorite and Luke had all the equipment we needed for beach days. Bedroom AC was great! Loved the unit and location could not have been better. Awesome sunrise!

The kitchen was NOT clean and the unit was rough. Broke lamp, broken hairdryer, broken slider locks, inoperable window, super flimsy beach chairs, sprung cabinet hinges means they never stay closed, couch sags and the cushions are worn out, no hooks to hang clothes, on and on. This and more added up to an uncomfortable stay. After one night we moved to a hotel. The view was great to be sure. The owner’s response to our comments and request for a partial refund was defensive and unsatisfactory.

AMAZING trip !!!!
My husband and I just returned from our vacation in Kauai!!! First time to Kauai for both of us! This condo is better then described if that’s possible!!! The first thing you see and hear when walking through the front door is the beautiful ocean and sound of the waves! Spectacular view!!! You will not turn on the TV if staying here! We drank coffee every morning on the lanai, ate several lunches and even dinner the last night enjoying the ocean and beautiful view!! Location was also amazing!!! Less than a half mile walk to the Coconut Marketplace, and so many great restaurants! Loved The Sleeping Giant grill for the best fish tacos! Bobby V’s had a hidden small bar with amazing service and food! The Stella Calzone will not disappoint ! Burgers were great too! Had a fantastic birthday dinner at The Bull Shed, filet and shrimp scampi were delicious!! Window seats are right on the water and what a beautiful full moon week it was! Would definitely recommend !! This condo has everything you could need or want from beach chairs, towels, snorkeling gear, small ice chest! Kitchen was fully stocked ! The bed and pillows were very comfortable and room stayed very cool with A/C. Again the view from the lanai with very comfortable bar stools was incredible! We watched several sunrises from the grass right out front. Luke was great and answered the few questions we had immediately. We can’t wait to go back next year!!! Lovely place 🌺🌸

Wailua Bay View 112
This is a stunning unit. It is as advertised and has a beautiful ocean view which provides stunning sunrises and sunsets. The unit is situated about 15-20 minutes from the airport and provides a great location to access both the north shore and the south sides of the island in reasonable time. We really enjoyed staying here and would stay again without hesitation.
