If you’re a traveller who needs to rely on wifi, you’ll struggle at the Seamount. Every area and every room of the resort has a different wifi network, all of which are quite unreliable. But if you have roaming, you won’t notice it.
The breakfast buffet was minimal, the food was cold and the juice concentrate was very weak. That being said, the breakfast options were flavourful.
The rooms are basic but nice, no amenities provided and despite being two travellers, only one towel was provided/replaced each time housekeeping came.
The pool area is lovely and provides an amazing view of Mt Agung and the ocean.
There are dozens of beachside bars and warungs within walking distance in both directions from the resort which all have wonderful menus and cheap drinks.
The resort bar is very basic but cheap.
There is an Indomaret just across the road which is handy.
Overall, the Seamount is a great base to explore the incredible surrounds of Amed and laze by the pool.

Die Einrichtung des Zimmers war z.T. unpraktisch und nicht einladend. Im Bad hat es gestunken, leider konnte das während unseres Aufenthalts nicht behoben werden.
Pool und Restaurant lagen sehr gut und waren sauber. Das Frühstücksbuffet wirkte etwas lieblos angerichtet, aber es war alles vorhanden.

Great value for the price
Publié le 22 oct. 2023 sur HotelsFabulous modern hotel with all the amenities. Beautiful pool and grounds and well cared for. Ocean view rooms are wonderful with a real view of the ocean. Staff is attentive and serve a hearty breakfast.

Our second stay at Seamount. This time the breakfast has gone downhill. From being an excellent al la carte to a not so good buffet with minimum choices.
If you ask they will knock something up for you.
Other wise it’s eggs anyway everyway or garlic vegetables, fried rice or fried noodles. No cereals, no fruit juices & no yogurts with the fresh fruit.
Breakfast for me is a deal maker or breaker.

Overall the hotel provided a great service. Accommodation was large and service staff pleasant. The service in the on-site restaurant was not good and the food below standard. A local warung about 100m away provided food to a much higher standard and at less than half the price

Booked 2 seafront rooms here for 3 nights. Oceanfront location with a fantastic pool. Nice staff. That’s where the good ends. While the rooms are large, the bedding is disgusting. My comforter had a big stain on the underside that I didn’t notice until the morning when I turned it over to get out of bed. Wouldn’t have been so bad if there had been a top sheet which there wasn’t. I left the stain visible and my comforter was replaced without my saying anything. My sisters rooms bedding was even worse. Two blood stains on the comforter which were fresh, and sheets that had stains that had been set. She didn’t notice either of these until she too pulled the covers back on our check out day. So very gross. All bedding and towels were once white but now gray. Shower had a sewer smell when water was turned on. It did go away after a few minutes of continuously running the water. Breakfast food was cold. It’s served in chafing dishes that aren’t kept warm. Not a good thing. The disgusting bedding alone would keep me from ever recommending this place to anyone. It’s such a shame too, as the setting and location is beautiful.
