Chambre très propre mais en cours de rénovation pour une partie de l’hôtel, ce qui est très bien. Personnel extra sympathique. Nourriture très bonne. Très bien localisé. Hôtel à organiser le transport pour chute Victoria et très bien fait.

Les problèmes : pas assez de serviettes de toilette, de produits de toilette, un coffre-fort fermé depuis longtemps, et le pire : un petit déjeuner en dessous de tout. Tout comme le restaurant. C'est simple, on retrouve tous les soirs les clients du Travelodge dans les hôtels avoisinants.

Great service at a relatively new modern hotel, located close to the Kasane Airport, and excellent access to shopping, and tourism operations.

EXTENSIVE RENOVATIONS made for not a pleasant stay
Publié le 15 juin 2024 sur HotelsThere were EXTENSIVE RENOVATIONS of the property which we were not made aware of upfront. Building material everywhere, the place was one building site, accompanied by noise. During my many bookings online (I travel very often), there were occassions that a hotel after booking online had the decency to write an email advising about renovations and that gave me chance of accept it or not. Here Travelodge took non refundable reservation and did not advise us. Had we known, we would have never booked rooms there.

Hotel staff are super nice and the location of the property is perfect if going to Chobe National Park. It’s also a quick ride to the Zimbabwe border to go to Victoria Falls.

Enjoyed our stay here. Clean and quiet. Close to the game park and river cruise. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms.Good dining options on site.

This property has pretty much what you expect at a Traveldoge. The rooms were affordable and the upstairs and downstairs had individual air conditioning. The food on site was definitely better than what you might expect and was even fairly tasty. The provided airport shuttle was an extra nicetie, even though the airport is a short distance away. The property is also very safe having its own security, though Kasane wasn't dangerous.
The biggest drawback was probably the beds. While adequate, they were not the most comfortable. There were also a few power outages while we were there, though the exact cause wasn't clear (and did result in alarms going off once the power was restored).
Note that the Wi-fi is excellent - enough to easily stream video. Also, the hotel has all types of electrical outlets common to Botswana. It is also close to the entrance to Chobe National Park.
