The first person I got at the reception was a bit mean. She was surprised that I asked for an early check in and was confused about my half board package. I had to argue about my package. The window’s room was right in front of car ramp and the room’s door fronting the games areas so it was noisy. The room was a bit old. The entire bathroom smells poop from the drain at that point that I had to close the bathroom door to keep this strong smell in the bathroom. The food of the buffet was ok/good. The pool looks nice. Really good location to walk and visit around and close to the airport.

Any problem in the resort could be sorted out - i.e., in case of problem you could be given another room, etc. You booked an Economy room which is with a small terrace facing the garden.

Hotel pools very good! Room and aircon a little dated. Staff service very good. Food could have been better on the evening meals

Great food with a good variety. Good bar service and variety of drinks. Good entertainment all day and night. Not over crowded and plenty of sunbeds. The hotel was only a few minutes walk from the marina to so a good location.
Negatives - it would benefit from a water filling station, the gym opened too late each day, snack bar could do with improvement and the a la carte restaurant was fairly inaccessible and not a good deal as had to pay a fair amount to use it.
Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

Regarding gym hours – the fitness room is in the Spa, and it is open during the Spa working hours 10a.m. to 7 p.m. The a la carte restaurant has 15 Euro allowance for all our all-inclusive clients and if you order from the all-inclusive drinks, you don’t pay any extras for the drinks. We (family of 3) just returned from 9 nights stay in Sofianna Resort & Spa. The whole experience was fantastic, check-in was seamless, the room as expected, staff could not have been more helpful be it at the desk, restaurant, bars, pool, the housekeeping team or spa. Everyone had amazing customer service skills, and always a smile on their face, requests were pre-empted. The entertainment team was putting on a great show everyday. The pool was fantastic, no issue securing loungers, plenty of parasols to allow shade.
The all-inclusive choice was plentiful with different themes each night: Asian, Mexican, Carvery, Italian, International, Greek & Cypriot
The location of the hotel itself is within walking distance of main tourist attractions: the harbour, unesco archeological centre, ottoman baths, st Solomon’s catacombs and several orthodox churches, as well as the shopping mall.
I treated myself to the ice facial on the last day, which was absolutely amazing. After days in the sun the treatment made my skin feel relaxed, moisturised and look much smoother; honestly the best facial I ever had.
If I was to draw one negative it would only be to note that unlike other hotels I have stayed in in other countries, there was no information about tours displayed in the hotel lobby to guide guests. Perhaps a few leaflets could be useful though these can be found through the tour companies located 10min walk away in the harbour.

I always read reviews and do my homework before choosing a hotel. Here's my clear and honest opinion, hoping it helps others make the right choice.
We arrived at the hotel around 10 PM due to late flights. The receptionist (unfriendly,likely from Taiwan or the Philippines) greeted us.A guy helped with the luggage and brought us sandwiches (not great, but appreciated). even a crib and baby bathtub for our toddler.The floor appeared clean but was sticky.Our crawling toddler's hands and knees were always dirty. Sheets weren't changed even after the scheduled three days,despite visible marks. Towels should be changed every two days or if left on the floor;ours weren't.Poolside seating was insufficient, forcing us to sit on the grass.The children's pool area lacked adequate shade,making it uncomfortable.Cocktails had minimal alcohol,tasting more like juice.The all-inclusive package included three types of draft beer.Bartenders were nice and friendly. The dining room had different food themes each night (Italian,BBQ,Mexican,etc.)The food was decent but not exceptional. Meat was often dry.Dining room staff were helpful and friendly.The receptionist was unhelpful with a late check-out request. We only needed an extra hour due to our taxi to the airport, but she insisted on charging half a night's cost.Our friends,who arrived with three kids, were made wait 40 minutes in the lobby use the facilities despite having an all-inclusive package.
Overall,rate the trip a 7 out of 10

We value all feedback as it helps us to improve our services and guest experience.We are glad to hear that some aspects of your stay were positive, such as the friendly bartenders and dining room staff, as well as the helpful assistance with luggage and the provision of a crib and baby bathtub for your toddler. It's also great to know that you appreciated the variety of food themes each night. We try to satisfy all guest preferences.We are, however, concerned about the issues you mentioned regarding negatives. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience you experienced. We are known for our immaculate cleanliness so we were surprised, but we will pay more attention. Just have in mind that when the clients stay for 4 days and there is a policy of every third day bed sheets change, it doesn’t take place in all hotels.Regarding the shade over kid’s pool – there we have a big tent over the children's pool area to enhance comfort for all our yang guests.Regarding your friends' waiting upon arrival, we would like to clarify that the check -in time is at 2 pm and they came at 11 am. The hotel is fully booked, and the check-out time is at 12 midday, and after the previous guests leave the room must be cleaned. Our goal is to be as accommodating as possible, but there are certain procedures and rules to be followed. We appreciate your honest feedback and hope you consider staying with us again, giving us the opportunity to provide a more exceptional experience.
