Great except for the stairs

Peaceful and fun visit
Publié le 23 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a blast and wished our stay was longer. Comfortable space, great kitchen and spectacular view of the lake. A very nice access point for swimming and getting out on a kayak. Just wish we saw more loons!

We had such an amazing time. Being right on the lake was awesome, the kids spent so much time swimming and simply enjoying the view. We really appreciated all the fun board games and the little karaoke machine. Lots of small touches to this cottage that made our stay stay absolutely memorable and fun!

A perfect retreat!

As soon as we entered, our eyes were transfixed to n the incredible view of the lake which inspired our inaugural dip. In the days to come, we settled in and found great rest. Dinners were easy as the kitchen was well equipped and our sleeping arrangements were comfortable. I might bring a fan for the back room next time l. We also brought a modem for wireless which worked beautifully! The couch and large dining table were perfect for rich conversations and the kayaks added variety in our days. Overall, our hosts were incredible. They were readily available for all our needs. Communication was easy and instructions were clear. We had such a great stay that we will definitely be back to this oasis! Thank you for such a restful getaway. One last thing, Huntsville was only 20 minutes away which allowed for easy groceries and stellar hikes at Arrowhead and Limberlost. Can’t wait to come back!

Loved our stay at this rustic cottage

Jamie was very responsive and provided clear direction throughout the weekend. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again with our family in the future.

Amazing cabin by the lake!

We were 2 couples who just wanted to get out of the city and enjoy a calm and secluded long weekend, which is exactly what we were able to get with this cute and cozy cabin. The place is very well stocked up, kitchen wise, and had ample amount of towels, bed linen and so on. The place was big enough to accommodate both couples as it has 2 separate bed areas. The great highlight of this cabin is the lake, which unfortunately was frozen due to the time of year, but was such a picturesque view from the windows. It was very easy to get to. Parking was easily available and the check in process was simple. The instructions and communication by Jamie the host was seamless and friendly. All in all the place and experience was amazing and we would highly recommend it.
