Nostalgic Schoolhouse
Publié le 22 août 2024 sur HomeAwayStaying at the schoolhouse was a pure delight. Touches of nostalgia decorated the renovated building. Everything was comfortable, even the Murphy bed. The kitchen was small, but quite adequate. It was well supplied with equipment & utensils.Beverages for the Keurig were varied and tastey. The property was close to Harpers Ferry, Shepherdstown, and Charles Town. We even took in an exhibit on Sunday afternoon in DC. Peaceful & private.

Unique stay!
Publié le 20 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayThis property was a charming piece of history, my 10 year old daughter loved it here! It was pictured accurately and very clean. Close to many historical sites and North Virginias wine country. I can’t honestly say anything bad about the School House, it was a wonderful stay, thank you.

The place was very clean and comfortable with an excellent mattress! The neighborhood was quiet and the location was perfect for us as we were visiting our son in Charles Town but also wanted some time in Shepherdstown. It was so easy to get in touch with our host if needed. Great stay!!
