Ok hotel, clean, but price is high for what it is
Posted Mar. 27, 2024 on HotelsI've stayed here 3 years prior and decided to stay again during my visit to Silver Mountain since it is less expensive than the surrounding properties and still very close to the gondola station for Silver.
Pros about this hotel:
Proximity to Silver Mountain's gondola
Less expensive than other area hotels, though i wouldn't call it a bargain
Clean modern rooms, very updated (don't let the exterior fool you)
Comfortable bed
Cons about this property:
Right next to the highway; the road traffic can be loud
No pool or hot tub
No elevator
No restaurant, seems to be permanently closed.
Pitiful "grab n go" breakfast. When I stayed here last time it was during the height of covid, so they claimed they could only have a "grab n go" breakfast which consisted of protein bars, some fruit, and yogurt. Now, 3 years later, it is the same (i guess covid never left this place), but they have added bagels and a toaster. The toaster trips during every use, so you need to press the reset button on the socket. There are no napkins, no plates, and no butter for the bagels (but mysteriously there was cream cheese). And as stated, the key was grab and go because you had to bring it all to your room to eat.

This is the hotel we usually stay in when we come to snowboard at Silver Mountain Resort. It's close and convenient and the price is always right.

Not kid friendly, no high chairs or booster seats in the breakfast area. Breakfast was okay but not great. The sausage was dry and hardly warm.
The bathroom was very big but the tub/shower was less than. The water pressure in the shower was terrible. Over all not the best experience.

Room was great. the road noise all night wasn't. also, they put us upstairs and they were really steep. No elevator on site for those of us with bad knees.
