Great location, lovely view

Getaway on the water

The host was very accommodating. We had no issues at all. Looking forward to going back.

Cute place
Publié le 5 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThere were some issues accessing the hosts pdf’s upon check in. The buzzer was also not functioning. Host wasn’t aware of this issue but a building manager was able to let us in.
The apartment was alright, although not sure if the cleaners had done a good job on the floors because after walking around for a few minutes all our feet were incredible dirty. Full disclosure we had asked if we could check. In early but it was only by an hour and as a host myself I would never leave things undone just to get someone in early.
The location listed online was slightly misleading as yes it is in the marina but to access the beach you must walk about 8 minutes around the buildings. Again not a huge deal but it does say beachfront and we were not able to exit the building and walk directly into the beach. Good to know for someone who may be limited mobility.
The pool was nice! A very nice amenity to have for sure!
The patio is a great place to have a coffee although the patio umbrella is broken so we were unable to use it to shield the heat.
We did find the cleaning fee to be high considering they wanted us to start laundry. I could see if the cleaning fee was $60, sure but at $150, seems a little steep.
Finally, the cleaner showed up early @10:35 check out is at 11. There was no knock on the door and my gf was naked. She couldn’t hear her enter because we were running the laundry and the dishwasher.

Thank you for your detailed review. I take all comments to heart and constantly strive to improve. In response to some of your specific notes,
1) I believe your issues with the check in documents had to do with the version of pdf reader you were using. I have uploaded my documents again without issue.
2)The buzzer is functioning... a temporary glitch.
3) I always tell my cleaning staff to take their time and never rush... I will mention it again.
4) Full disclosure: the resort is beachfront but for security reasons, access to the beach is via a walking path that does take a few minutes... we don't want any riff raff gaining access to the property.
5) thank you for letting me know about the umbrella... will have it repaired or replaced.
6) The cleaning fee is charged by the cleaning company and is a fairly standard rate. In comparison, my cleaners at my property on Maui charge $200... USD.
7) Apologies on behalf of the early arrival of my cleaner. She did not see a car in the stall, knocked on the door and entered with an unfortunate result.

Long Weekend Stay
