Wish it worked out better.
Publié le 18 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayAs soon as we walked in we got a big whiff of mold. It was cute enough but we couldn’t get past the smell. Some couldn’t even be in the house. The main floor and basement were the worst. After looking around we found a bunch of mold in the basement garage area and that seemed to be the main source. The company, however, was great to work with and they relocated us after checking in to see if the house was in good clean condition upon arrival. They were able to find us somewhere to stay within a reasonable distance and we were able to move on with our vacation. They sent an email to me after saying they were closing the house to remedy the issue so hopefully it’s been taken care of.

Just Beachy
Publié le 11 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayFantastic location and lovely house. Beds are hard as a board and no wine opener, tissues, large pitcher, napkins and large dress mirrors but despite those minor issues we loved “Just Beachy”.

Big Home

Comfortable and spacious home
Publié le 4 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayVery spacious comfortable home on a large property. The home has everything you will need. Being from the western dry part of the country we don't know if all homes in the east have an unusual musty odor to them or it was just this home. The home is located on a very busy street with heavy vehicle use so if you are noise sensitive it is something to consider. The cleaning crew should spend a little more time and pay closer attention to details. We found potato chips on the kitchen floor, a hairpin on the family room floor, and a pair of socks between the sheets of 2 of the beds. Overall though we enjoyed our stay.

Great home in great location
Publié le 13 oct. 2022 sur HomeAway5 of us really enjoyed our stay in Kennebunk ME. Location was great; close to downtown Kennebunkport and short drive to other places we visited. Only complaint is we couldn’t figure out TV and freezer handle had been broken off prior to our visit
