New Modern House in Sonoma Valley's Best Area

Our modern house, which sleeps four in two separate spaces (a bedroom and a large office) has everything you could ask for when visiting the wine country: expansive decks, outdoor furniture and a high-end grill to enjoy the outdoors. Our living room has contemporary furniture with glass, accordion doors that bring the outside in. Great views of lots of open space. WiFi enabled. Enjoy our wireless Sonos stereo system. Stream a movie using NetFlix or Amazon Prime. (Unfortunately, we do not have cable channels. )

The house, equipped with air conditioning, has plenty of privacy and shares two acres with a main house, which is next door. It's set amongst California live oaks and Bay trees. A “winter” creek runs through the property. We have redtail hawks, wild turkeys, deer and the occasional fox. Take a walk down the quiet country lane or better yet, bring bikes and enjoy one of Sonoma’s best biking regions. We are in walking distance of one of Sonoma’s best regional parks, Annadel State Park. Historic Jack London State Park is only 15 minutes by car and Sugarloaf State Park is 10 minutes away.

The cute town of Kenwood is only five minutes by car. Glen Ellen’s top rated restaurants are 15 minutes and the downtown of Sonoma is 25 minutes. Quiet and secluded, the house is also just minutes from some of Sonoma Valley’s best and most picturesque wineries, including Ledson, Kunde and St. Francis.

Amazing
Eric’s house and location is amazing. From the wildlife that walks past the full length sliding doors, the stream that runs through the property to the close proximity to all the many vineyards in the Sonoma and Napa region. Eric leaves a detailed list of all the activities and dining the area has to offer. A must stay.

ITS A BIT OUT OF THE WAY, but we loved the setting being out in nature, so it was worth the extra drive on narrow roads, to wineries and shopping. We got used to it vand adapted very nicely. the house was very clean , modern, and well appointed with all the basic necessities. the host was very kind and attentive. I liked that we were able to leave at 11. We plan to come back in future trips.

Contemporary home in the country, quiet and beautiful night sky!
We loved this very clean, contemporary home surrounded by beautiful countryside. Everything you could want was available in the well-equipped kitchen, as well as a grill on the deck to sit out and dine on. Expansive views of the surrounding property from floor to ceiling sliders brought the outside in. The dark night sky was a show in itself. The owners were very responsive to any questions. They provided good information on the property both before and after the easy check-in, so minimal questions were needed. This was one of the most comfortable mattresses we've ever had in a rental, helping to make the week fly by! Would definitely recommend, and hope to return!

Charming and Off the Beaten Track
Loved this little get-away in an amazing location! Driving up country roads with red and gold vineyards on your right and left in autumn was amazing. And yet, so close to all the best Sonoma wineries!!! The house itself was thoughtfully decorated, with all you need for a wonderful Sonoma escape. We will definitely be back!!!

Amazing!
We absolutely loved our stay at the modern glass house. It was one of the highlights of our Sonoma Valley vacation. The house was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The location was quiet and secluded, surrounded by deer and wild turkeys. There are a plethora of vineyards near the house and it is easy to get to many locations from the house. I highly recommend staying here and I would love to book this home again when I return.

Perfect Sonoma Vacation
This modern home just past and through a vineyard has all the amenities we needed. Fully supplied kitchen and outdoor grill, folding patio doors for indoor/outdoor living, WiFi, games, books Netflix, washer/dryer ,comfy beds and bathrooms, accessible and friendly owners. We love this VRBO. It’s a little hard to get to and the winding narrow road leading to it through the vineyard is not for the faint of heart but the reward at the end is well worth the scenic trip in. Can’t compliment this VRBO enough. A++++

We had a family wedding to attend at Sonoma Golf Club. This property gave us privacy and a home away from home for the weekend. Super clean and modern. Had all the amenities we could need and then some. Would definitely come back again. Very good communication with the host. Highly recommend!

Another Perfect Week In Wine Country
Our third time we have stayed here. Always perfect. The owner goes out of his way to make sure you have everything you need. On the first morning we were there I let Eric know that the coffee grinder had died. When we got home that afternoon there was already a new one waiting for us. A day or two before we had to leave a member of our group said I can see why you keep coming back to this place.

A Hidden Gem

Great Get Away Find
Very nice open and modern house secluded away from the crowds. It has a kitchen and gas grill so you can save on money on restaurants to buy more wine 👍 The option for EV charging is also an additional convenience.

Hidden Gem in Winery Country
We absolutely loved staying at this place in Kenwood. The house is situated back in the woods away from noise pollution. You feel like you’re at your own retreat. The house was super clean and the beds were very comfortable. We’d love to know what mattresses were used because we’ll be shopping for new ones soon. The host was very gracious and checked in on us. We spent very little time at the property because there was so much to see and so around the area. We would definitely come back and stay here again. Thanks again.

We really enjoyed the property. It was super clean, very spacious, isolated but only 5 min from town. For us, the perfect location. We saw wildlife everyday and cant say enough about sitting on the deck, looking out on the property, and drinking our morning coffee. If we come back to Sonoma, thid will be our #1 pick.

There is absolutely nothing but wonderful things to say about this property. The location was great to explore wine country and hosts were very thoughtful leaving helpful recommendations for local restaurants, wineries and amenities. The property was beautiful, modern, clean and the deck was the perfect spot for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. We had a wonderful stay and hope to visit again.

Relaxing place to explore Sonoma County
This was a wonderful house—very close to Glen Ellen and central Kenwood, and a nice place to relax when not touring wine country, complete with wild turkeys and a family of deer. The house was very well appointed, though guests will need to bring some of their own basics (olive oil and coffee, for example, though there is a coffeemaker). The hosts had tons of helpful written information about the area—including a nearby hike within walking distance—which made it easier to decide what to see and do. (Future visitors should know there’s a 10-minute shortcut to Glen Ellen that Google Maps doesn’t seem to know about!) We’d be delighted to stay here again someday.
