Gorgeous Property
Publié le 11 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWilliam's property was a spectacular property that sits literally above the clouds (at least the bucolic cloudline in the morning that blankets the valley floor vineyards). So much space to enjoy the outside (from swings, to pickleball/basketball courts, to hikes, to the pool), and a peaceful and welcoming inside. William was also a wonderful host - very responsive and kind. 10 out of 10.

Family, Food and Wine

Most anything you need at the cute grocery in Glen Ellen (less than 10 mins). We played pickleball each morning, watched the wildlife right outside the door, pool time, had a Cuvee tours picked us up for wineries. Can't imagine a better trip. Super easy stay and they have little note cards for anything that may require instruction. Cheers to the owners!

Magical stay in a magical place

The check-in process could not have been smoother and the owners were extremely communicative the entire time. We had chef Slifer come to cook at the house (recommended by the owners) which was a truly highlight! highly reccomend. There's so much attention to detail that exceeds what one normally gets in a rental. Cannot wait to book again. Huge thank you to the owners for everything!

Paradise Among the Vines

William made the whole process seamless, providing great communication and documentation prior to our check-in process, as well as a very well organized binder on-site with all of the details of the property. The kitchen was frighteningly well stocked, with almost every piece of tableware, flatware, cookware, or bakeware you can imagine, including several decorative sets.
The main house is stunning. Accurate to the photos, and easy to feel at home. The property includes all the basic amenities such as AC and a whole-home stereo system. But to best experience the best of the Lavender House, throw open the massive sliding windows and enjoy the open-air home. The large ceiling fans easily circulate the air when the doors are open and keep the home comfortable at any time.
The bedrooms are welcoming and comfortable, with two primary bedrooms (Master / Guest), a third bedroom complete with bunkbeds, and a guest house with a small kitchenette and bathroom off the main building for added privacy.
The grounds are incredible. A panoramic view of the surrounding mountains and vineyards, outdoor BBQ (x2), pool, hot-tub, bouldering wall, and tennis court, topped off with a picturesque outdoor dining area with a charming set of string lights woven through the tree overhead.
All-in-all, the property is custom tailored for a perfect weekend getaway for you and your friends. We couldn't have had a better experience

Lavender Hill House stay

The quiet hilltop location felt remote and private, even though we were just minutes from Kenwood. The house is as comfortable as it is elegant with everything we needed right there. We played tennis and pickleball, made large meals together which we ate outside under the magestic oak trees, and splashed in or sat by the pool, mesmerized by the stunning views. It was conducive to connection and conversation for our group, as there was little need to leave.

Well appointed kitchen and grill had everything we needed to serve up some memorable meals soaking up the serenity and the views.

Breathtaking views - Nature at its finest

Multiple seating areas inside, large kitchen well-equipped to cook up fabulous dinners and the overall house layout was great! The pickleball/tennis court, corn ball set up and ping pong ended up being a highlight! The property management company and owner were very responsive. The drive up to the property is windy, but well worth it given the amazing views. Bird watching incredible! The house could use some updating, but overall we had a fantastic trip. Special home and location!

Magical friends and family trip
Publié le 28 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayThere are no words for how stunning this property is. Everywhere you looked from floor to ceiling windows was just serene. We stayed for a weekend in May with family and friends and enjoyed every square footage. The pool, tennis courts, hot tub, outdoor BBQ/entertainment area- there was no reason to leave. We all enjoyed the peaceful fog covered mornings on the deck with our coffee, seeing if the wild turkeys were going to stop by!
House was immaculate, felt like I was living in a show home. All the bedrooms were private with comfortable beds.
William was the best host I have ever encountered. Also quick to answer me, and always with a phone call even if I was interrupting his personal life.
Hope to stay here again! Such a beautiful serene property!!

Perfect weekend house!
