Great value for money

The views are beautiful.
One thing to note, if you take a dog make sure you have long leads and a torch, as nowhere enclosed to let them off before bed or first thing.
Both bathrooms are en-suite as well as opening to the corridor which was a peek we didn’t expect.
The perfect place for a relaxing family trip and highly recommend.

Lovely Lakeside Lodge

Lakeside paradise
Publié le 4 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayFirstly i would like to mention the hosts, there was a small issue with the lodge due to the recent storms and Alison took the trouble to call me and explain and even processed a partial refund as compensation as a gesture of goodwill.
In no way did this affect our stay, it is clear to see that the lodge is used by a family and loved! Fantastically equipped with high quality fixtures and furniture and kept spotlessly clean too. The lodge boasts an amazing bathroom with a corner jacuzzi bath that my wife and son spent half of the break in :).
The site is spotlessly clean but a little remote so ensure you stock up on essentials before you get there but provided you have these you would not need to leave. Good wifi on site and a great location for exploring locally.
In summary i would highly recommend the lodge and we will definitely be returning! Thank you guys!

Excellent lodge - stunning location
Publié le 28 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe have had a lovely stay at the lodge, one of the most well equipped we have been to. It is great for the dog and secure decking spaces front and back. Just be mindful you will need to let the dog out on a lead at the side of the property as there is no garden as such but it’s not a problem. There is a large field on site that you can take the dog on too. Stunning location and views from every window and the decking. There are some lovely walks on the site and bigger walks nearby. We ventured into Keswick for the markets and stocked up at the supermarket there. Even the weather held up for us! We will definitely keep this on the list of ones to come back to.

Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful location over looking the lake, cosy and comfy on autumn days. Plenty of dog walks from the property or within a short drive. Scenic walks to local pubs. Would definitely recommend and visit again

Great holliday

Thankyou for your feedback, it would be much appreciated if you could advise on the cleanliness comments. We were in the lodge before your arrival and I am confident the lodge was left spotless.
We are getting some feedback about the birds leaving a mess on the patio area, unfortunately, as soon as this is cleared they make a mess again. We have made a decision that the mess they make is not ideal but preferable to not feeding the birds at all as many guests enjoy watching them from the lodge. We are looking into this further.
