It was the most beautiful place to stay. Old worldly charm, delicious cooked breakfast and a little plate with cakes when we got back from a day out. There was a cozy open fire to sit and read by and our hostess was friendly and helpful. Would love to return one day.

Best BnB ever

From the cozy cottage to the home cooked breakfast with the stunning views of the Lake District from the garden. There were baby chickens running around and cows just over the fence. The room was comfortable and the house was very nice and warm. I could not recommend enough.

The host was very welcoming. The house and gardens were stunning and steeped in history. The breakfast was plentiful and home-cooked. We look forward to returning in the near future.

Publié le 20 août 2024 sur HotelsStayed for a week, wish it could have been longer! Host was faultlessly polite and helpful. Wonderful accommodation, fantastic location and stunning scenery. Breakfast was so tasty, I bought some eggs to take him with me. On site dogs were well behaved and friendly. Great base for exploring the Lake District, with quick access to Keswick and surrounding area. Room was comfy, en suite was clean, and the gardens were beautiful. Will come back.
