Our TOWER condo with balcony offers ONE OF THE BEST OCEAN and MARINA VIEWS of ALL TOWER CONDO UNITS! Please note the OCEANFRONT LOCATION of the Tower building on the map of Kawama we've provided in the "Photos" section. Please also note that, of all rental units available at Kawama, only some Tower condo units and the Villas have Ocean views.

Our condo is all on 1 LEVEL in an OPEN-CONCEPT design. The layout fans out to beautiful OCEAN VIEWS from the WALL-TO-WALL WINDOWS in the LIVING ROOM and MASTER BEDROOM. Be sure to take in sunsets and sunrises from our 400' jetty that is steps away from our condo!

Our spacious condo's layout is PERFECT FOR for 2 FAMILIES, or 2 SETS OF COUPLES, with BEDROOMS and ENSUITE BATHROOMS PRIVATELY SEPARATED. It is also perfect for families with YOUNG CHILDREN, with our condo being ALL ON ONE FLOOR with NO STAIRS, and a full-sized BABY CRIB set up in the Master Bedroom. Crib linens are provided, as is a highchair. The second bathroom tub is low entry, and perfect for bathing infants and young children. A child-proof latch has been added to the exterior door in the 2nd Bedroom, for use to ensure that children cannot exit our condo on their own accord.

RENOVATIONS and upgrades to our bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchen and additional upgrades are now complete, and ready for your enjoyment!!!

Both bedrooms now feature new solid wood platform bed frames and good quality mattresses, including a new LUXURY HOTEL QUALITY, HIGH-END WinkBed HYBRID MATTRESS in Master Bedroom. Enjoy your sleep like a King or Queen! Full length mirrors have been Installed in both bedrooms, new artwork and decor, and new bed and bathroom linens are provided.

The Master Bathroom now features a LARGE WALK-IN SHOWER with frameless glass shower door, high-end and unique 3D porcelain wall tile, natural stone pebble mosaic shower floor, imported-from-Italy plank hardwood-look porcelain floor, a new, modern 48" glass-topped vanity and matching mirror, new TOTO Ultramax II toilet, etc.

The 2nd bathroom now features a new LOW-ENTRY Kohler bathtub - Shower combo with QUALITY "White 3D Wave" porcelain shower wall tiles, imported-from-Italy plank hardwood-look porcelain flooring, modern white quartz topped vanity and mirror, new TOTO Ultramax II toilet, etc. See our newly posted photos!

Both bathrooms are now also equipped with new dual rainfall shower head/handheld combos.

To complement our kitchen's beautiful GRANITE COUNTERTOPS and GLASS-MOSAIC TILE BACKSPLASH, we've installed a NEW STAINLESS STEEL RANGE, REFRIGERATOR, MICROWAVE and DISHWASHER. All appliances are full-size, and counter-depth for an "upscale" look and feel. The electric range has a 5-burner glass cook-top, and a convection oven. The fridge features a bottom-mounted freezer. EVERYTHING to cook, serve and enjoy your meals (snacks and beverages too!) is PROVIDED!

Our DINING AREA, with seating for 6 persons has new funky asymmetrical wall mirror and new pendant light. Our spacious LIVING ROOM, with its WALL OF OCEAN-FACING WINDOWS and full MIRRORED WALL wall that brings the ocean inside, features a new 50" SMART TV, new Phillips bluetooth enabled entertainment center with CD and DVD players. New wall-mounted TVs also installed in both bedrooms.

As guests, you are availed of 3 in-ground heated saltwater pools, with the beautiful Tower Oasis Pool being reserved only for Tower owners and guests. Kawama's saltwater lagoon/lake, which rises and falls with the tides, is also a popular spot for swimming, snorkeling, scuba diving practice and use of non-motorized watercraft. Fish-attracting green lighting has just been installed at various lagoon locations, and is beautiful at night!

Kawama also features it's "Beach Area" on the Atlantic Ocean coast. The upper level of the North and South Beach Areas, made of crushed coral, is equipped with Adirondack chairs, tiki huts, fire pits, bbq and outdoor shower. This is a fantastic place to take in the ocean views and breeze, take in some rays, meet new people or simply chill and relax. A natural ocean-accessible beach area is is also available in the Beach Area's bay for swimming, snorkeling and watersports.

Our condo is perfect for those of you wishing to bring your boat. Use of Kawama’s boat launch/ramp, commercial ice room, boat/scuba gear cleaning station and boat/trailer storage yard are COMPLIMENTARY for Kawama guests. Alternatively, you can rent a boat slip in our Kawama-Molasses Reef Marina. The pricing is based on ft of slip space/day or week. Contact can be provided on request. In order to bring your boat/trailer into Kawama you’ll need to bring proof of a min. $300K liability insurance. Please note that 3-axis trailers are not allowed.

Kawama is a quiet, fully gated community with 24x7 security and lots of amenities. It is located on the Atlantic Ocean coast, approx. 1 mile from the major commercial area of Key Largo where you can find grocery/drug stores & other retail outlets, as well as many restaurants/bars.

Adjacent to the famous John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park. Swimming, boating, jet skiing, kayaking, canoeing, snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing are some of the prime activities at Pennekamp. Next door to Dolphins Plus, where you can swim with the dolphins and sea lions. Many attractions such as Theatre of the Sea are closeby.

With upscale furnishings and all the amenities of home, our condo is a perfect home base from which to explore the Keys. At mile marker 99.5, our condo is 99.5 miles from Key West, the southern-most tip of North America.

A wonderfull stay in paradise...

Large, Great Place in a fun community.

First, this condo is *huge*! There's a large, well-stocked kitchen (all the supplies you could possibly need), a huge living room space, two bathrooms (one lovely, the other nice and functional), and two large bedrooms. There's a small-ish desk that looks out over housing, a marina, and has some views of the water. The condo was clean and the furniture was comfortable and nice. There were a few spots where some age showed like a rusty corner of a window but nothing you would notice on first glance and the overall feeling is terrific, clean, and spacious. The condo is in the larger, gated Kawama Yacht Club community. You have access to 3 well-used, clean and refreshing pools surrounded by lots of seats. Perhaps best of all, though, is the lagoon. There are so many fish (including large tarpon, several rainbow parrot fish and lots of smaller things like sargeant majors) in here with several excellent viewing spots. There's a beach and 'dock' to swim from too. It was too windy to go out to the reef when we were in Key Largo so this was truly the best spot we found for sheltered snorkelling. The complex also has a beach, jetty, and outdoor spaces. The beach had some sargassum on it when we went, so we swam in other spots. The host and the cleaner are both very communicative and easy to get in touch with. This location is 4-5 minutes from the overseas highway which has a number of restraurants on it. You are 5 minutes driving from CVS, Walgreens, coffee, takeout, etc.

Great Home Base for a Largo Trip

We enjoyed our stay at Kawama. The condo was spacious with two bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, living room, dining area and balcony with marina / ocean view. The condo was clean. Outside areas a little dingy in some spots but fine. Our boys loved the lagoon for a salt water swim with the fish. The pools were very nice as well. The jetty / marina area had a bit of a brackish smell from seaweed but a good walk. Very close to good restaurants. We enjoyed High Tide and Key Largo Fisheries.

Nice quiet get away

We were looking for a ni e quiet get and thats what we got. It was nice and clean condo. The manager and stsff were grrat as well. Our only disappointment was that there was no sandy beach. There was a coral sand walk way and a nice coral sand beachy area at the land locked lagoon within the community. That disappointment was more due to our lack of knowledge of the area. Sandy beaches arent really around in the keys. Other than that everything was fantastic.

Fabulous location!

Visited with my Mother, sister and cousin. Felt very safe with the gated security. The grounds were beautiful and very well maintained. Location was great! The beach, marina, pool were all very close by. And the condo was fabulous and very well stocked.

Key Largo 5 star stay

The condo was perfect for our adult family of 4. Had lots of room to spread out. Pool was amazing. The grounds were beautiful. The beach was definitely a plus. Watched the sun rise every morning. The condo was tucked back off the main highway. Very quiet. The location was perfect. Took day trips and was able to visit all of the Keys. You won't be disappointed.

Perfect location - love the jetty for beautiful sunsets

Condo was in perfect location with respect to getting to various areas of Key Largo and you can’t beat the short walk to the jetty to see beautiful sunsets. Condo had everything we needed for our stay there. This is our 2nd time staying at this particular unit and we’ll be back!

Convenient, responsive, nice pool

The communication with the owner and check in information was awesome. She was very fast to respond to questions while we were on site too. We found the beds to be hard and small (All beds seem to be fulls not queens). It was nice to have access to pool towels and extra towels as needed and the laundry on site. We ended up moving the sofa closer to the TV for me to read close captions and brought in some brighter lights from the second bedroom for reading. Nice updated bathrooms.

Great fishing trip stay at the Kawama towers

The owner was an excellent host, a very nice person and has a very nice place!!! Very tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable, very well equipped and spacious. All of my friends made the same comment independently. I personally appreciated the owners communications, responsiveness and graciousness in hosting us. It made stressful planning and coordinating the entire trip very easy. Thanks so much and I would definitely like to rent from this owner again when we plan a return trip. I had 3 other friends join me an they really enjoyed the condo and facilities too. Thanks again!!!!!

Very Nice Condo, Excellent Owners/hosts

Stay was very nice, clean spacious condo, well equipped with cooking utensils/etc, nice washer and dryer. The condo is oriented so it is not over heated by the sun. Nice view of marina and ocean. Owner was very helpful, responsive and very nice to work with. I had two groups of retired friends coming in to fish on local charter. Both groups really liked the accommodations and all were very comfortable. Thanks very much for a great stay.

Great condo and time in Key Largo.

We enjoyed the condo and the property. The condo was very well supplied, and the host was very accessible for questions. Also, the property was very convenient to all places in Key Largo! If your trip is diving, I would suggest Rainbow Reef dive center and for fishing check out Captain Mark with Mahi Mania. For restaurants, we highly recommend the Fish House and The Buzzard's Roost.

Great location for Key Largo vacation

The condo was in a great spot for exploring Key Largo and the upper Keys. Very family friendly and well-kept community. Walking distance to Dolphins Plus Marine Mammal Responder, as well as a few restaurants (if you're looking to leave the car behind). The living and dining room furniture aren't the most comfortable, but thankfully we didn't spend much time in the condo so it wasn't a big deal. The beds are all on the firmer side, which was our family's only real complaint (nobody slept well the entire stay due to the mattresses). (Tip: bring earplugs to keep pickleball & tennis court noise from keeping you away - windows are thin.) Kitchen has everything you could possibly need, laundry room with pool/beach items is super convenient, showers have great water pressure, nice view and easy access to pool/"beach" areas. Tiki huts, Adirondack chairs, picnic tables/benches and pool loungers are all plentiful and add to the wonderful community feel of Kawama.
