Publié le 21 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayNice location and very clean but needs some extra touches. Kitchen chairs need cushions, almost impossible to sit for any length of time. Really the only comfortable seating is the couch.
Get real throw rugs. The ones there are slippery and always rolling up. A trip hazard for sure.
Fix the air conditioning. A cutting board in the kitchen would be a plus as well. When it trips on, it sounds like a train going thru the bedroom. Woke us every time.
And lastly, a couple of cheap folding chairs so one could sit on the porch.

Publié le 18 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe found the tides on Simonton online and booked it immediately. When we arrived, the check-in process was very easy and the location is very nice. We ate down the street at Duffys twice during our stay and it is an amazing place. I highly recommend their prime rib. we will definitely be back

Alverda we are sorry you felt your experience was worth one star only. To help future guests better understand your review, we looked into our records and found your issue was the following: upon booking, you chose an arrival date that was 1 day earlier than you had planned. You didn't notice the mistake when we sent the email confirmation, the signed agreement or the check in instructions. Those would have been 3 separate opportunities to rectify your mistake. Once you reached the end of your stay you let us know of the issue and asked for a refund. As most other hospitality businesses, we do not offer refunds for nights that were booked but not used. We hope you understand and we sincerely wish you all the best in the future.

Comfy Cottage
Publié le 23 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayLovely cottage retreat! Very spacious and comfortable. Very well equipped kitchen . I used the kitchen a lot. Nice dining table. Comfy medium - firm bed . Big bathroom with large shower . Great location right next to Duval. Air conditioning provided nice white noise for sleep even though street noise was almost nonexistent. Nice high ceilings. Excellent host Whitney responded to my few texts immeadiatly and made me feel welcome. I plan on coming back to this comfy retreat .

Steve, thank you for taking the time to list the issues you encountered. Our process is to send check in instructions the week before by email, then the property manager sends a welcome text the day before check in and the key lock box code once the home is ready for check in before or at 4pm. Sometimes check in instructions go straight to the spam folder depending on your inbox settings.
We hope this won't keep you from renting with us again, please reach out to your property manager as soon as you notice cleaning issues or anything else in the future, they will send someone to rectify right away. We really thrive to make out guests' stay the best possible and are so sorry yours fell short.
