So close to the action but very quiet with access to the ocean. The free breakfast and Keurig in the room with pods was so appreciated. This is the quieter end of Duval but you can get to all kinds of good stuff with a short to medium walk.

A gem in Key West. Good coffee, French pastries and fresh berries at breakfast. Quiet and no kids.Wish property was non smoking. Watch out for seagulls at the pool. Roosters are a little noisy but you get used to it. Part of the charm.

Nice place, but not worth the money
Felt like i got a "bate and switch" i booked a hotel room with a balcony and a ocean view... i mostly had an ocean view. They put us in there property next door, which is not pictured on there website. There was a noisy air-conditioner we had to lister to all day and night from the restaurant that was on the beach. The staff slam pallets around at 4:30 in the morning. This was not worth the money we paid.

The cleaning personnel did not clean the sink & the toilet. The air conditioner in the room is old & too loud. The air fresheners everywhere are irritating. For the price, bath robes could’ve been provided. The main issue was the outside all night illumination, the light is coming between the blinds. Either turn the lights off at 10pm or put curtains on. Also, roosters will wake you up around 2:30am

We stayed at the Mansion for 2 nights. The pool was ice cold the entire stay, we were told the heater was broken. In the future we will never stay in room 106 again, it is right next to the public restrooms that are open to the public until 8 pm. Which is very noisy and annoying because of all the people. The TV in the room worked the first night but the second night it did not work. The staff gave us $87 dollars off of our 2 night stay, which was $1200. We won’t be going back to this hotel, as there are several others to choose from in the Keys.

The property owners upgraded the bar area for optimum profitability but have regretfully neglected the hotel grounds especially the bungalows by the pool area. Food and bar servers are excellent. For the price you pay the continental breakfast could be upgraded.

Get outside of the standard hotel setting and enjoy a personal experience at the Mansion. Beautiful old home with great character, wonderful staff (Nina was super friendly and happy to engage in historical conversations), amazing food on premise (owner's son) at the Seaside Cafe, and the location is absolutely perfect. Ideal sunrise and sunset location, on the south end of Duval St, this is the perfect place to start and finish your daily exploration of the island. Highly recommend

The property was well located at one end of Duval St. Staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. The room was very nice with a comfortable bed. Unfortunately, there were roadworks directly outside the hotel during our stay which created a lot of noise from early morning and meant we couldn’t make use of the lovely balcony. Check with the hotel if the roadworks have cleared before booking your stay, or ask for a room not facing the works.

Everything was great except for the “playboy party” that was for the public but made it so we had to vacate the property! The pool then was invaded by gross disgusting people (1200 came to this!) and we decided NOT to use it until it was shocked the next day…. That was a one day we could not use it! I think we should have been compensated. Otherwise it was a beautiful site and I definitely would stay again.
