Read your rental agreement thoroughly.

Property was great but the management company not so much... If you plan on booking read the agreement Summit County Rentals sends you throughly. They have hidden fees in the contract and will not refund you for them. 12 pages and hide “damage insurance” in multiple lines of initialing - this should be listed first but embedded in a sea of text and agreements to be shady.

Great property - bad management and no working EV charger

Beautiful home and property but think twice before booking this location. We rented this townhome for the EV charger. Our Tesla would not charge on the included garage EV charger. This was brought to managements attention our first night of arrival. We stayed for 3 nights and got the run around from management about the EV charger or no response at all. They did not communicate or fix the issue we had with the property as it was brought to their attention daily. Overall it made for a stressful stay and a lot more time and money spent at the local Tesla chargers that are about 15 minutes from the property. Do not stay here for the EV charger!

Thank you for your review and feedback. Our company does not personally manage the EV charger amenity and it not equipped to handle any repairs related to the EV charger. This requires reaching out to the homeowner directly for further troubleshooting, which we have done and have had no current reports of it not working.

WARNING - PREPARE TO SLEEP IN YOUR CAR 1ST NIGHT

We were flying from Florida and after 2 flights and a car ride we made it around 2 am letting them know ahead of time of our eta. They sent us a code for the key that didn't work, we called the one number was available and sent text messages. We had to sleep inside our rental car. Four people in a compact car so you can imagine. Around 7:30 am we called them again because the online page says that they open at 8 am. Gorge called us back and sent a maintenance lady to open the door finally. The house is good and they have everything you need but they sent us the wrong code and wrong directions to get in. We were sent an additional code to ensure we could enter and exit the rental for the rest of our stay. They do not understand that they sent the wrong code to enter. Be aware if you are checking in the instructions are vague and do not include any of the information you'll need to get into the rental. MAKE sure you get multiple codes to enter or you will be locked out. Also, when you contact management and the office they will blame you for not calling the after hours emergency phone number that isnt listed in order to avoid responsibilty and will not refund you for your missing night. VERY VERY poor communication and lack of customer service is embarrasing. They will blame you and everyone else for their mistakes. Good luck.

We do apologize for the negative check in experience you had while staying with us, this is certainly not the impression we want to leave with our guests. We have an after hours emergency line that is available 24/7 for guests that have any issues. We provide our phone number in our rental agreement, check in instructions and on all communication sent to guests.

Property was great. Description is accurate. Loved the location on the outskirts of Keystone. Very quiet and beautiful. Bike/Recreation trail access is just across the street.

The windows really should have been clean prior to check in. They were all hazy like they haven’t been cleaned sll season. Especially since this property’s main view was east facing. And they should have at least been cleaned soon after check in as we left for the entire day every day, returning in the late afternoon.

The property was everything as expected. Clean, supplied and well worth the price. Would definitely stay there again.
