A charmingly simple rustic holiday retreat, this classic beach cottage in the NSW South Coast invites you to slow down, unwind, and enjoy time out in a lovely coastal setting located just steps from the dog friendly Bombo Beach and a short 800m stroll to vibrant cafes, restaurants and local village shopping. Relax and reconnect with the outdoors, in a comfortable and homely setting.

The Space:
This lovely old world cottage with charming features includes high ceilings, timber work and a sweet front verandah. An open plan living and dining area adjoins the large functional kitchen. Accommodation comprises three generously sized bedrooms with the Main bedroom having a Queen bed, Bed 2 also with a Queen bed and Bed 3 has 2 King Single beds. The main bedroom also has direct access to a large sunroom, which could be the parents’ retreat or second living area, and there is also a family bathroom and laundry.
At Il Nido di Bombo, there is a large backyard for the kids to play in, ceiling fans and a split system reverse-cycle air conditioning system, ensuring the perfect climate year-round. The property also has off-street parking in the driveway.
Modern conveniences include NBN internet, an electric cooktop, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The laundry also features a washing machine along with iron and ironing board creating a home away from home. Enjoy the break away from the busyness of life and make the most of the intermittent phone coverage!
Bring along your furry friends to enjoy the ultimate holiday experience! Our home is conveniently situated across from a dog friendly beach, where your four-legged companions can frolic and play to their heart's content. No pet beds or bowls are provided, guests are required to clean up after their pets.

The Neighborhood:
Kiama is a lovely coastal town on the South Coast of NSW, 125km from Sydney and just 13km to Shellharbour. The area is known for its unspoilt surf beaches including Bombo Beach positioned right across the road. The location provides a mix of exciting places to visit including, the famous Blowhole, ancient rainforests, local produce markets, lush rolling hills, waterfalls, whale watching, walking trails and Pilot’s Cottage Museum which traces the town’s maritime history.
A short drive will take you to even more great places to visit including; ziplining and tree top walking at Ifly, waterslide fun adventure at Jamberoo Action Park, tranquillity in the Minnamurra Rainforest and the lively Waterfront Marina in Shell Cove with a host of eateries, bar and outdoor spaces to relax in, along the wonderful Marina boardwalk.

Other Things to Note:
We strictly enforce a no-noise party policy. Our home is situated in a tranquil street with residents nearby, therefore, we regretfully cannot accommodate any lively gatherings including but not limited to "hens/bucks" parties or "schoolies" bookings. Our space is ideally suited for families or friend getaways seeking a peaceful retreat. Please keep noise to a minimal level at all times.
Bath towels are provided for all guests, with beds pre-made for your convenience. If you plan to visit the beach, please bring your own beach towels.
