Inside, the home offers attractive floors, tasteful decor, and tons of space. The living area is the perfect place to host big family events, enjoy homemade popcorn during a movie night with the flatscreen cable TV, or just curl up with your favorite novel while everyone is down at the beach. You'll love exploring the community, especially when you challenge a friend to a match on the shared tennis court.

What’s nearby:
Be sure to tee off next door at Night Heron Park Golf Course, or at any of the other courses that pepper the island such as Cougar Point and Turtle Point Golf Courses, both less than three miles away. For great food, family-friendly activities, and carriage tours, be sure to check out historic downtown Charleston, only 25 miles away! You can bike or drive to Freshfields village, about four miles away, where you’ll find some great restaurants, boutiques, and grocery stores for some fresh local produce. Just a bit further down the road is Bohicket Marina (about 5 miles away) for boat cruises, dolphin tours, live music, wine tastings, and more! And if you're wanting that morning exercise, you have over 30 miles of walking and bike trails that cover almost all of Kiawah Island.

Roomy clean home with pretty screened in porch
We had 3 couples staying the weekend. The place was plenty big, nice comfy furnishings and updated appliances. We loved the screened in porch, overlooking the lagoon, to eat breakfast in. We appreciated the starter products (dish and laundry pods, bathroom needs, etc) so we didn't need to buy for the weekend. There were a couple of repairs needed but nothing that caused issues with our stay. Property management was very kind and helpful. .

Perfect family house
Perfect house for our family. Near the beach, near Night Heron Park for kids camp, the nest cafe and convenience store all easy walking. Had bikes delivered that were waiting when we arrived. Comfortable beds, all very good.

The cottage was well-appointed and clean. The check-in process was a breeze. The property is in a convenient location, about a 7 min. walk or 3 min. bike ride to the beach. The property is also near the Night Heron Pool (access not included!) and a quick drive to the Freshfields Town Center. I highly suggest renting bikes to explore all that Kiawah has to offer.

We loved the property and the island. The house was very spacious and clean. Had just about everything we needed to enjoy the trip. There were a couple of minor improvements we could suggest…Cable TV was “low def” and limited channels. We didn’t watch much TV but kind of expected better at this price point. Also listing said “shared tennis court”. I guess this was technically true but the sharing would be if you wanted to go to the Barth Tennis Club and pay $40/hour for a court. All in all our trip was great and place was great.

We stayed here for a wedding weekend. The cottage was nice and kitchen was well equipped. We could have used more towels and some tissue boxes. The front screen door has a problem and almost had to break it to get into the houses. The fact that you can’t use the pool for us was a problem but we did t have much of a choice. The beach is close which was nice. Personally I think it was a lot of money for what we got.

Interior was clean but the sparse furnishings were not welcoming. The rental is in need of updating with repairs to the stairs to the entry door - lighting and wood. Washer/dryer worked well, but the dishwasher takes an extraordinary amount of time to run.

This was a cute place and very comfortable. It needs a little attention though to be a perfect place. The beds were great. Location great. And It was clean! BUT the kitchen was missing key items and there were things broken that never got fixed while we were there.

Great location for my guests' stay during the PGA. AC did not work upon arrival, but Property Manager was readily accessible and immediately addressed the issue. Great service. Unit exterior was a bit run-down, but interior was clean with good floor plan.

The property is spacious and generally clean (the floors seemed a bit gritty and could have used a bit more mopping). The location is great. The mattresses were comfortable and kitchen well stocked. I have just a couple quibbles. The furnishings are kind of spartan. I definitely don't like clutter and tchotchkes everywhere, but even just a few more pictures on the wall or a bookcase or something would make this property feel a little less sterile. My other quibble concerns the bedding. In short, there was not enough of it--just a light cotton bedspread and a sheet. This might be fine in the summer, but it was a sparse for the winter. There were extra blankets, but they looked like they could use a wash. These issues would not discourage me from renting the property again. It is definitely spacious, with a nice big dining table. Perfect location, too.

Very Nice Stay
We enjoyed our short stay here. We had plenty of room. We were 3 couples, so just pushed the single beds together. Loved the huge dining table. We played a lot of games as it was not ideal beach weather. Short walk to the beach. One disappointment was that the table and chairs on the screened porch were very dirty so I had to clean them off before we could use them. It would be nice to have six chairs out there instead of 5 as well. The kitchen was nice and updated and was better supplied than I expected. However I took some cookie sheets and a big skillet and was glad that I did. The house also has a huge TV. Overall it was a very comfortable place to stay not far from the beach.
