My husband and I stayed at this beautiful Cottage for three weeks.The location is perfect, easy to access walkways to the beach and bike paths. Very nice decor, kitchen well stocked, bed’s comfortable. Super clean on our arrival, most important for vacationers to know. Fresh Fields is a short 10 minutes away, delightful shops and great grocer. Definitely a place to return to. Sincerely Lynda & Marc

Excellent vacation location on Kiawah Island!

The Greenslake Cottage was a fabulous place for a Kiawah Island getaway for our family of four! Wonderful, peaceful location on the island, with a lagoon in the backyard filled with wildlife. The rockers on the back porch quickly became my favorite spot to have a cup of coffee in the morning. The cottage has lots of space for my husband and I, plus our adult children, to spread out. The kitchen was clean, very functional, and well-stocked with any kitchen amenities you can think of. We ended up cooking together instead of going out most of the nights because it was so much fun! The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms were very clean. We loved the washer-dryer which was handy to wash our beach sandy clothing before our flight home. Short walk to the ocean beach or community pool. Overall, we loved our time at the cottage and hope to be back soon!

Quick getaway

The property is as descibed, and layed out well to maximize the available space. Access to the beach is a 10-12 minute walk (we found it much easier to drive 2 minutes to the access across from Cougar Point). Home was well stocked, with great A/C for the 95* weather.

Thanks for posting this review on line. Most of our guests walk or bike to the beach. We are happy to share the address and closest boardwalk with potential guests so they can see it is about an 8 minute walk to the beach.

Very comfortable and well cared for. Loved my stay at this cozy cottage. Easy, shaded walk to the pool and beach. Highly recommend!

It’s a quaint villa just a 10 min walk to beach. Villa had some wear but overall served us well.

Thank you for staying with us. We do our very best to ensure the photos and descriptions we provide for all of our properties are as accurate a view as possible. Additionally, the owners have now replaced the couches in this villa, as of April 2023. Since so many of our guests return to this cottage year after year, we hope that potential renters will read those reviews as well.

Perfect for 2-4 people. Pet friendly. Lovely place in a beautiful coastal island setting. Susie was very accommodating and attentive. We would love to return some time.

Great place, very relaxing and our small dogs were not eaten by an alligator.

Glad you enjoyed your time at this cottage. There is an alligator in this lagoon, but there are plenty of bike paths to walk your dog that keep you away from the lagoon bank :)

Enjoyed the view of the lagoon. Very well equipped kitchen allowed us to cook meals very easily.
