The hotel birke is a beautiful hotel in many ways, absolutely 5 star reception area, bar and restaurant. Beautiful furnishings, service and lovely and cosy in the winter with open fire in these shared areas. I had a cosy garret room which was lovely in a lot of ways except for the carpet, which was really very very stained with drops and brown marks, it really needs replacing or a thorough steam clean and was off putting, i did not want to walk on it as it did not feel clean the sheets and bathroom were very clean though, the wooden casing around the bed needed a bit of a clean or replacing ie furnishing just a bit tired ,perhaps fair enough for 3 star but the carpet is not really passable and felt dirty even if it eas not ne ause of all the stains. I also would have liked more explanation when i checked in as i was unaware of the processes like where to book for dinner and missed out on a table, and was not explained about breakfast or other facilities/amenities.

Ruhig gelegenes Hotel; Innenstadt mit dem Pkw aber schnell zu erreichen. Außergewöhnlich freundliches und kompetentes Personal. Schöne Bar. Sehr gutes Frühstück, bei dem die Chefin von Tisch zu Tisch geht und sich nach der Zufriedenheit der Gäste erkundigt.
Wir haben in einem der Appartments Waldesruh gewohnt. Überraschend groß, gute Betten, schönes Bad. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können das Haus nur empfehlen.

Sehr gutes 4-Sterne-Plus-Hotel, was diesem Standard absolut entspricht. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Hotel mit Pool, Bademantel auf den Zimmern, excellentes Frühstück mit sehr reichhaltigem Angebot. Auch mit dem Nahverkehr, Bus, sehr gut zu erreichen. Haltestelle vor der Türe. Alles top!
