There was construction going on during my stay. I was told it would only be loud between 11am - 6pm. The noise started earlier and continued later than told. Lots of mosquitoes in room and no net or bug spray provided.
Unfortunately my stay was not as enjoyable as I had hoped for.

The vibe and atmosphere was good and laidback. Room was next to the pool area creating easy access. The gym is a bit old.

Probably because it was an international event in town, the prices were very high and incompatible with the service provided. Breakfast could be better, as well as shower maintainance. Bed is large and very comfortable, hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood, staff is friendly and the pool seems to be pleasant (although I did not have the time to enjoy it). Evening playlist at the restaurant was definetly the best of my experience.

Apart from the massuese, who does an excellent job at massage, one bfast attendant and the breakfast eggs chef, everyone else was really not at all attentive to my needs. From no water in my room, to malfunctioning a/c, awful internet, no follow through on booking requests. Most ime I felt that I was in the way of staff enjoying themselves, the bartender who carried on anpersonal conversation on her cellphone for all to hear, the front desk staff wearing their bedroom slippers and badly stained uniform etc etc. it was my first time to Rwanda, and the first hotel I stayed at during the visit. Hopefully it’s not the norm for all Kigali hotels, so maybe try somewhere else.

Not as fancy as a major hotel, so don't expect the Marriott, but pleasant, quiet, convenient neighborhood, and good value.
