Avis Beautiful 1 bedroom condo. Private lanai overlooking fairway with ocean view!

Hi Phillip, I am a little surprised to hear how dissatisfied you were with your stay. Upon your checkout, and in preparation/inspection for the next guests, our property rep informed me that the sound on the television in the bedroom was not working so that we could figure out what to do. I do wish you would have reached out to either me, or our property rep at any time during your stay and we could have taken care of the television for you as well as the toilet that was not flushing well! That should always be in good working order for our guests! This is what our property rep is there for:) In our three years of owning the condo, you are the first to make note of the coffee pot. The only question we’ve received from guests, is if it’s a Keurig/Nespresso style or coffee pot, so that they know which kind to bring/purchase when they arrive. You are correct, in that one of the two showers is great, the other is still older style, as only the master bath as had the remodel completed so far. It is still nice to have a second full bath option, in a one bedroom condo:) Side note* We had actually planned to remodel the second bath and kitchen, this fall. (We just completed our 3 bedroom/2 bath remodel last Sept) After the Lahaina fires last August, insurance premiums skyrocketed by more than 500%, we have had to put the remodel here on the back burner for the time being. Our towels may not come from a 5 star hotel line, but we purchase most of our towels/linens from Target, and feel that they are of decent quality, and actually not even the cheapest line available at Target. That being said, they do need replacing from time to time, so if you felt that way, I will take a look at them when we are there in two weeks to see what needs to be weeded out and replaced. We generally are replacing them with new about once a year, if not more often. We purchased this condo for its location and view from the property, (few in Grand Champions offer any view of the ocean) with the hopes of improvements along the way. It was fairly well stocked upon our arrival, but we generally stay in our 3 bedroom unit (2 buildings away). I will be happy to take a look at the plates, bowls, cups in the kitchen again, when we visit in a few weeks and see if there is something that might be a better purchase than what is currently there. (Colander included:) Again, in our three years since owning the condo, guests haven’t seemed to mind what is in the kitchen, but I am committed to making sure that your opinion is considered. Though I do wish for more positive than negative in any review, most concerns (which do arise in rentals) can be addressed with our property rep, and remedied quickly, and then we are able to weed out the possible negative experiences for our guests. Hi Susan, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review! We love the spaciousness of the condo as well. The square footage is nearly the same as our 3 bedroom unit, (minus 2 bedrooms:) The views are really what sold us on these two particular condos . We soak in each beautiful sunset every time we are visiting. It never gets old. We would love to have you return, should you ever return to Maui again. Thanks again! ~Jackie
