Great location to Showgrounds.

Front door was difficult to open and close, had to put my shoulder into use to open
Ensuite basin taps leaking
Shower head loose therefore leaked
In general no basic maintenance is been performed
We didn’t stay the second night

Very old rooms which is fine, but need carpets cleaned and bathrooms had a lot of mould on the ceiling and grout. Not sure that the blankets are switched out and cleaned in between guests. 3 stars is being kind. Walking distance to the town centre.

They call it the garden motel. But don’t expect to see any nice gardens.
Very untidy outside.
Bit outside the town but u can book a courtesy bus from the pub.

Country Motel
Publié le 18 déc. 2023 sur HotelsNot very well maintained - old furniture and BBQ at back of motel, gardens and lawns a bit over grown BUT the room was clean and comfortable and the bed was great - inside was what I would expect of a country motel. Handy to park and servo and an easy night stop over.
