A house built to last
Publié le 8 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis house is a marvel of when construction was done the good old fashioned way. Located in a great neighborhood within easy walking distance to downtown Kilmarnock. The property is well maintained and a pleasure to occupy.

Convenient, comfortable home
Publié le 30 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwaySeveral members of my family and I were in the Kilmarnock area for a reunion and visits to familiar places. We had a wonderful stay in this home, filled with interesting antiques, art pieces, and comfy furniture.
Plus was its location right up a block from an awesome coffeehouse/bakery where we purchased breakfast items.
The neighborhood was very peaceful.

Check in/out process
Publié le 17 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayI feel the the check-in/check-out could have been handled a little better. There was literally a note on the refrigerator with very little information on it. When I asked the property manager for instructions she was very short and curt. The kitchen was not very clean and ants were everywhere and someone left food in the refrigerator, not very professional.

I’m sorry you didn’t feel your stay was as expected. You did say that it was your first experience with a short term rental. The check in and out information is all on the website however we include it at the house for guests convenience. We used to have a book but it kept being misplaced so a version on the fridge seems easier. Tidewater unfortunately gets ants whenever it rains really hard after a dry spell. We have had challenges with weather this year hence the traps and spray. I had new cleaning lady and will mention the kitchen. Thanks for your imput

Perfect place for our graduation ceremony

So convenient to Main Street and just a few miles from the graduation celebration stop. Comfortable house and very clean. Would stay there again! Thank you for having us.
