Amazing weekend getaway!

Just right!
Publié le 2 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis spot takes you to a place offers scenary, nature and peace. For a moment I had to remind myself we were still in Virginia. This lovely place was the perfect getaway, not to far but just far enough to absorb all the beauty it had to offer. Fred & Karen were great host. The cottage was clean and had all the basics. If you need anything just ask them or bring your own. We grilled, kayaked, walked, went to sightings in Reedville, Hughlette Point, Kilmarnock, ate at Smalltown burger, Yum! also Willaby's Cafe both had good burgers!

Relaxing getaway!

Fred was a great host and every restaurant he recommended was spot on! The cottage was conveniently located close to several charming small towns so there was plenty to do! We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing getaway
Publié le 28 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe loved our stay at Fred’s property. Unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate enough for us to enjoy the water, but the views and cozy cottage provided a relaxing time away nonetheless. Location was great — off the beaten path but still a quick drive to town.

Tucked Away Gem!
Publié le 6 nov. 2023 sur HomeAwayWell-appointed, adorable home located on a BEAUTIFUL piece of property on the water in the Northern Neck area (Kilmarnock). Easy check-in, easy communication with the owner/property manager, clean and bright. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly and hope to come back again in the near future.
