Called for an early check-in, but not rooms were ready "apparently " (will get back to this point).
Was told over the phone,without acknowledging my early check in request that there is a fee for dogs - that was hidden from the booking. Fee is $20/dog per night.
Front desk/reception stinks and is moldy.
The guy only cared about taxing me for the pet.
Room given was missing a bed. Was given another room with 2 beds as per my reservation. Upon arrival to the room, I had to remove all the webs covering the front door which is a sign of long-term vacancy, but apparently there were no vacant rooms for an early check-in.
Room has an industrial look with many outdated items, mold and rat bait in the room, unable to lock the front door (no hook).
Was trying to relax outside before my road trip of 7 hours when the manager walked all the
Way from the front desk to my room (400 meters) to ask if I was leaving that day. And if I had pets...Seriously? At least the matress was good, but not sure if it was clean considering everything else.

There was dead bugs under my bed, had to buy new bedsheets pillows etc found a grape under the bed too was so old it had no juice left in it idk when my room was cleaned last

Think twice before you book this motel
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HotelsI am usually a positive person. I tend to leave any place I stay in tidy when I leave. However, I had to stay here for a night due to an urgent situation, and I never want to stay here again.
Pros:
The air conditioning worked really well on a hot night, the bed was reasonably comfortable, and it was quiet enough to sleep well. It was conveniently close to the beach and downtown, which made getting around easy.
Cons:
1. They didn't change the bed sheets, so there was hair under the pillow and visible wrinkles and signs of use on the sheets. Fortunately, I had my own sheets, so I managed to get through the night.
2. The bathroom was just ridiculous. I could understand the old bathtub, but there were traces of dirty water and hair everywhere, with dead flies scattered around. The toilet had urine stains as if it hadn't been cleaned for a month. Also, the toilet seat was loose, and I nearly fell. The towels should be replaced; they seemed washed but were too old and had a couple of stains, which made me hesitant to use them.
3. The room was so dusty that I could write "please clean the dust" on the surfaces. It seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in a year.
Although we urgently needed a place to stay for one night, it wasn't worth $150. I would pay around $50 at most.
The bathroom door handle was broken, but my husband fixed it, so we should have been the ones getting paid!
If you're going to rent it out for money, please at least pay some attention to cleaning.
