The hotel had extensive damage from the storm that went through in the weeks prior. Unfortunately that left the hotel with a pretty bad smell. The hotel just looked unsafe but was the only option we had so we stayed. So much was dingy and dirty the lamp shades were full of rust, the carpets felt wet, there was just a lot going on amd not in a good way.

There was trash, beer cans every where, all trash cans over filled. Lots of construction going on. I understand damage from the storm, but they should not charge full rate, or offer another stay.

A person has to go into this with the understanding that some parts of this state were effected by hurricane laura. This hotel has wind and water damage so know that when booking. It is very close to the casino which was our reason for staying there but don't expect much from this hotel in it's currently state.

Made a reservation for this property and had a confirmation number. When I arrived at the property they had no available rooms. This was horrible since I had no place to live after Hurricane Laura.

Pisser! Took my reservation 10 days earlier, but when I showed up at 10:30 p.m. after a 4 hour drive to come help with clean up in the area, I was told "No rooms! We cancelled everything!" WTH?!

Publié le 15 sept. 2020 sur HotelsI was already in lake Charles 2 hours before check in its a 5 hour drive from home. Got message that our reservation was canceled so we had to go back home. I think if we have to cancel 24 hours in advance they should give us advance notice also.
