Lovely shore cottage

Great location on the lake!
Publié le 7 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe proximity to the lake can't be beat and the decks were really nice. We visited in October, so we did not swim or kayak, but that would be nice for the summer. Our only complaint was a musty smell in the cottage.

Publié le 21 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a delightful two-week stay here. The living area is cozy — perhaps even a bit small for more than two or three people—but very comfortable. Kitchen is roomy and well equipped. And morning coffee or evening wine on the large deck can’t be beat. The property manager, Sally, and the host,Don, immediately and cheerfully addressed a small problem with a clogged sink drain. There’s lots of interesting history in the area, and the cottage location, almost midway between Ithaca and Auburn, makes exploration easy. If we were to return to the Finger Lakes, staying here would be a high priority.

The owners communicated with us clearly and thoroughly before our week started, so we knew precisely what to expect. And somehow we were still greatly impressed!
Lake access was trouble free and absolutely easy. All the amenities of a lake home were present and accounted for. We were able to make fires in the fire pit most nights, got into the lake every single day despite the weather being iffy a few days, and got paddling and kayaking so easily.
We were comfortable, entertained, and happy the whole time. We had such an amazing time here. Unwinding and having fun that we booked both this cottage and their partner cottage for next summer. Pretty much as soon as we got back home!!!
Both of our kids, 3 and 8 years old, had an amazing time here. There were games to play, stones to skip on the lake, easy access to the water, flotation devices, and bunk beds. They couldn't ask for more! All amenities worked perfectly and were clean. We are so excited for our next visit!

Pura Vida stay

The beautiful deck is right over the water and fishing is great! We love kayaking, using the paddle boards and swimming. This is an amazing place to stay. Don’t pass this one up!

Well Earned Relaxation
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe woke up Saturday morning excited to get on the road for our week on our favorite Lake. We arrived not knowing what to expect. What we arrived to was perfection. The house is beautiful! Kitchen had everything we could possible need. We enjoyed going on adventures with the kayaks and paddles boards. We went on multiple walks a day with our dog on the lane. The neighbors were very friendly. But mostly we enjoyed just sitting on the dock and floating in the Lake and just enjoying some well earned relaxation and quality time together. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us. We will be back.
