Norfolk Wedding Visit
Posted Jul. 18, 2024 on HomeAwayAn old characterful house in a lovely location. Comfortable lounge with lots of seating, well-appointed kitchen downstairs. Upstairs..spacious bedrooms and bathroom.
Worked well for our family of grandparents, parents and siblings and two small children to attend a family wedding nearby. Clear instructions were left.
It was ideal for us.

Large accommodations!
Posted May 13, 2024 on HomeAwayThis seasoned property was well-situated in a small village just across the pond from the local pub. It provided us with plenty of room for five adults and was a good home base for exploring some of the coastal areas of Norfolk. We loved the ability to have a fire in the fireplace each night.
Our host, Ian, was very welcoming and helpful.
While some of the appliances could stand to be updated, overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Spacious, Baby Friendly House in Lovely English Village
Posted Apr. 15, 2024 on HomeAway'The Old School House' provides generous and flexible accommodation, including all amenities needed for including infants (crib, high chair etc.). The host is most accessible and responsive, and Wereham is a tranquil and engaging village (with a great local pub providing excellent food), close to many interesting sites for day trips. A lovely place for an enjoyable holiday.

The location overlooking the lake was an added bonus.
Ian and Debbie left us a bottle of Prossecco, sweets and a lovely card, really nice touch.
A neighbour brought us round some home grown tomatoes 🍅
I would definitely go back and would definitely recommend 👌

Great stay wonderful location
Posted Sep. 2, 2023 on HomeAwayVery relaxing few days in a very friendly village. The village is very picturesque and the house sits right on the edge of the village pond which as a temporary resident you are allowed to fish. The village pub is very welcoming and serves lovely food at very reasonable prices. The village is in a great location for touring around Norfolk. Ian is a great host and even provided access for us to plug in our electric car overnight so we were fully charged every morning. That saved us alot of running around.
Great shower in one bathroom and a bath in the main bathroom which is very large. Beds are very comfortable and the house has all the amenities you could need. Highly recommended.

The Old School House Wereham
Posted Jun. 2, 2023 on HomeAwayThis property is in the beautiful village of Wereham. My family and friends stayed here for my son's wedding in a nearby village. The Old School House is amazing - such a lovely house and I can't recommend it highly enough. We would definitely stay here again!
