Host Cancelled My Stay
I had a disappointing experience as my host hadn’t provided any check-in details the day of my stay. Check in is at 4pm, at 5pm I had reached my destination where the accommodation was and I realized I didn’t have any information regarding my check-in process. I reached out to the host who then informed me that the accommodation was double booked and my stay would be cancelled. I then had to scramble to find accommodation last minute after travelling for 12 hours from Canada without phone service to call around. I finally found another option to stay but ended up paying double the price due to it being last minute. I am still awaiting for customer support to reach out, but due to the aforementioned lack of cell service, it will have to wait till I’m back home to see how they resolve this and retain my support.
