River Tracks Cabin is adorable!

Perfect vacation!
Publié le 16 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe absolutely loved this property. My main concern when vacationing in Michigan with children is being close to water but not right on the water. The river is down a stairway then down a pathway, definitely far enough away for safe distance for kids.
The cabin was perfect as well. Like everyone else said, the outside shower is great for sandy kids feet and being so close to Lake Michigan.
I loved how it had everything we needed. Even a handheld vacuum so I could get the sand out of my car after the day at the beach.
I searched all over for a rental in the wilderness that had water access and this one was the perfect gem. Can’t wait to go back!

Perfect Getaway

The hosts had communicated with us the whole time and answered any questions we had! We will definitely be back soon!

Bad host
Publié le 2 janv. 2024 sur HomeAwayHad no wi-fi or internet as advertised, took two days for so called hast to respond , then when they did they sent son to try and fix , called again and they said they would stop and get what they needed to fix ,did hear from the so called host again , I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone

-This review contains inaccurate information. It is true that there was a connection issue with the Wi-Fi. We were notified the day after guest check in, on December 24th. The following day, which was Christmas – our two adult sons, (at the request of the guest(s), and their specified window of time) rectified the concern regarding the Wi-Fi connection. We also do not appreciate information in this review - specifically – “they sent son to try to fix” as it does violate VRBO review guidelines - as it “contains personal data”.
-Two days after we attempted to reach out via phone call and text message to guest. The phone call was not returned, and the message was “read” but not responded to.
-As a potential future guest may read this previous guest review it is evident that it is difficult to understand, and grammatically incorrect.
-We have sense updated our Wi-Fi jetpack to the best available for the location of the cabin and have not had any issues.
-River Tracks has a rating of 10 – Exceptional. We have a multitude of 5-star reviews and wear the “badge” of the Premier Host with pride. We strive to make our guests stay - one they will never forget and cannot wait to return.

Quiet & Secluded

Close enough to Traverse City without it feeling like a long trip to get there, but out in the woods enough to feel like you’re the only people around for miles. The hosts were very accommodating and easy to communicate with.
