The room had dirt all over the floors. The towels looked like they were used and refolded. I had to buy towels and disinfectant to clean the hair and soap out of the shower prior to using it. I was very upset with the whole concept. Will never stay there again.

Price gouging. Fleeing hurricane helene destruction. Tri-cities hotels were completely booked. Based on price and desperate to find a place to stay at least for the night didn’t check reviews and booked non-refundable online. I paid $294 for one night at literally a roach motel. Killed a roach on the mirror with the lights on. Slept with the lights on to deter any more from coming out. Initially I was told our room was in the back. When we arrived to the back looked like prostitutes and druggies pacing the sidewalk around the rooms. Went back and requested a room “not in the back”. Felt a little safer with new location closer to the front and managed to sleep somewhat.

This was the only property available within a 20 mi radius. When I got there there were homeless people walking about there was people hanging out back by the dumpsters smoking cigarettes and weed I did not feel safe nor my vehicle. When I got into my room it looked run down the bathroom looked disgusting just run down hole in the door shower was not very clean I would not walk barefoot in there or in the entire room. When I turned on the vanity light roaches of different sizes and other bugs scattered on the counter. The mini fridge the outside was dirty, the inside there were rust spots like it was an older refrigerator. The baseboards throughout the room had mold growing on them there was dirty spots along the walls. It took me all of 10 minutes to check out after I checked in. This is my first time leaving a negative review but it was also the first time I have ever checked out of a hotel after checking in because the conditions were deplorable. Luckily I didn't see any bed bugs but who knows. My room even smelled strongly of weed because the people next door were smoking it. The entire property looks run down like it needs a lot of TLC.

We requested a no smoking room but it reeked of cigarette smoke the comforter had cigarette burn marks all over it there was graffiti all over the bathroom door like in public restroom the ceiling in the bathroom had a large rotting hole from an apparent leak there was only 1 washcloth and 2 towels for 2 guests. Pillows were so flat it was as if we had none. The only positive I saw was we did not wake up with bedbug bites! If I hadn’t booked thru a booking site with no refund I would have left The pictures on the site are VERY deceiving!!

When I requested a trash can, I was given a garbage bag. I then requested an ice bucket and was given another garbage bag. Which was fine, because the ice machine was out of service. The toilet wouldn't stop running. The bathroom light wouldn't shut off. The overhead light didn't work. The TV remote didn't work (was replaced after multiple requests). There were holes and stains in the furniture. Probably more things, but those are top of mind.
