Rough start, excellent stay
Publié le 5 avr. 2024 sur HotelsThasheca gave clear details about the expectations for entering and leaving the property, how to use the appliances, etc within the apartment, as well as how to find reasonably priced places around town. She is prompt and very personable.
I strongly suggest that it be made clear on hotels.com that this property requires an appointment in order to enter the premises. The contact person/owner was VERY rude in declaring that expectation. As someone who has been using hotels.com for over 10 years ( for hotels and apartment rentals alike- in the USA, San Andrés, Colombia, Cuba, Panama), I have NEVER been spoken to the way I was when trying to check-in.
The distaste was taken away with entrance to the beautiful apartment and with the very personable way in which Thasheca communicated with me.
I have already shared pics with my family and friends who are looking forward to looking into renting the location for their upcoming vacations.

I searched for hours to find a place with all the amenities I needed. On the site this place seemed to be perfect but sorry to say some items were misleading. Let me begin: That cozy looking couch featured in the pictures was not in the apartment. Instead there was a Pleather banquette that was hardly meant for lounging. The add has air-conditioning as another amenity however only the bedroom has AC. Not “cool” especially when it is time to cook. I used the windows to allow hot air to escape when one of them completely fell out breaking into the ground below. It was then I realized another was cracked as well. There are no screens in the windows so flies will enter if you choose to open them. (Check for damage first). The only TV is located in the living area so no snuggling in bed watching it in the air conditioning. Yes there is a full kitchen however when I wanted to roast some fish, I discovered that the oven did not work at all, just the stove top, The microwave took a long time to heat foods compared to what I am accustomed to as well. Laundry facilities are also mentioned in 2 different places but when I asked the host, I was given a confused look followed by off-site directions. Like really??? The last point of concern is that you really need to pay attention to the added fees due at the time of arrival. It makes your stay cost significantly more than the price quoted. Calculate what you are REALLY getting and see if it is worth it.

We have updated our listing and photos to better reflect the accurate amenities provided in the apartment. Over time, we did upgrade and improve small things without taking new photos. Your review prompted us to do some major upgrades.1. "We added a second AC unit so the entire apartment is super cool for guest comfort."2. "We added a washer to the utility room so you can do laundry inside the unit."3. "The oven was always working, so we added instructions on how to use it."4. "Yes, we upgraded the sofa to a stylish one and now include it in the photos."5. "All windows now have screens on the outside."6. "We added some patio furniture and a backup water tank in the unit, among a whole lot more."7. "We imported the microwave from the US and it operates just fine."We have addressed all issues mentioned promptly to ensure that future guests do not experience the same issues. We appreciate your feedback and have updated all photos so all potential guests can see the improvements.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Cssa Pinto. It's a reserved neighborhood near my grandparents. It was as pictured, clean and warm. Victoria was amazing, kind and easy to work with. The gentle man I spoke to at first made me uneasy and I almost felt like cancelling or telling him off, he didn't seem friendly or warm but he passed me to Victoria and because of Victoria, my experience was awesome. I was skeptical because locals do live on the property but they are quiet and peaceful, don't bother you. I mind my business they minded theirs just a smile, hi and bye. But I overheard them speaking and figured out that they lives there. I would recommend this property to any one. It is gated and safe.

8 Days vacation

Have the pleasure to meet Victoria, property Manager who will work with you and just a phone call away. Surely will be back. Muah continue to provide great customer service.

Great and comfortable place

We had a very nice stay. The lock on the lobby door was a little stiff to turn the key. Other than that, the apartment itself was far above my expectations considering it did not cost a fortune. The communication, punctuality and belpfulness of the staff was also above average expectation.

I stayed 7 nights and have no regrets. I had a small challenge with the lock on the lobby door and they did not charge me for breaking the key in the lock. They were understanding about it and maintenance changed the lock within 2 hours. The apartment look just like the photos online and the amenities were just what I needed to feel at home and they were all in very good order. I would book Pinto or another of their Casa property in the future.
